I like Grundtvigs Kirke built in the early 20th century in what was then considered a rural area, but which is now in sort of between the city of Copenhagen and the suburbs. Grundtvig was a poet, educator, and politician, considered the Pater Patriae in Denmark.
Most Danish village churches are white like this one (Bellinge Kirke ca. 1300):
In the island of Bornholm in the Baltic, and only there, the churches are round, called a 'rundkirke'. Østerlars (12th century):
