Well, there has been several speculations about friendly match with Catalonia in recent years, but so far it hasn´t happened.
We haven`t played against Aland too, but in the early 90s we had 4 friendly games with Sami football team. Estonia won 2 games

It has been quite a eventful day for Estonian football.

In the very very early morning, newspaper recognized journalist Dannar Leitmaa published in Eesti Ekspress some kind of conspiracy theory (based on some inside speculations from person around Estonia NT). There came out/speculated that the main reason why there has been tensions inside team, is the way, how Pehrsson treated legendary goalkeeper Sergei Pareiko (who is nationally russian). After Pehrsson decided to drop Pareiko from team, other russianestonians (Vassiljev, Dmitrijev, Kruglov) started some kind of revenge or sth against Pehrsson, playing without desire. Ofcourse it is impossible to say, if it is true.

Leitmaa also claimed, that the reason, why Ojamaa has been ignored by Pehrsson, is his difficult character and selfishness. Apparently he and former captain Raio Piiroja almost fought with eachother. Ojamaa is very unpopular among other players and was hated in Legia Warswawa. And when Legia wanted to sign Flora player Maksim Gussev in january, club president put a veto on it, claiming that Legia won't sign never another Estonian player
-------

In 10.00 it became official, that Magnus Pehrsson has been sacked as NT manager.
-----
In 12:00, Estonian FA confirmed Martin Reim (record international with 157 caps) as new manager. Mart Poom (120 caps) and Janno Kivisild continues as goalkeeper or assistant coach. New member in coaching staff is Andres Oper (all time top scorer, 134 caps and 38 goals).

yeah it's well known that Ojamaa is good at pissing off his teammates and coaches

Pehrsson was right in dropping Pareiko too

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim
