12 out of 23 are from the local league which is the highest number in an official qualifier in a long time....possibly since 90s. Would be a miracle if we get anything from this match.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

What happened to Vassiljev?

Norway seems like quite a popular destination for Estonian footballers.

By the way, you know what would be a really funky idea? Naturalizing Hidetoshi Wakui for the NT

I have a feeling we get trashed in this btw.

we've met them twice before and got trashed 0-6 at home and 0-4 away..it was in the early 90s though when most of our squad was comprised of local league players...oh wait

Just checking, in his last match for his club side, he was subbed off in the 60th minute in a 2-1 loss against Korona Kielce... he's scored 1 goal in 13 appearances. Seems like he's always shined for the NT but never for his clubs.

yes it's quite weird how he basically performed on a world class level for us in 2011-2012

Do you have any issues with the squad, Andy? Obviously it's a concern with the number of local players making up the squad, but do you know any notable players that have been omitted who are playing in foreign leagues who you think should've been selected?

no, it's more like we simply lack good, in-form players beyond Klavan

7 Bundesliga and 3 Serie A players in Swiss starting lineup...looks like a really sick team.

Swiss score from a clever corner combo, Pareiko gets a hand on it but fails to save.

First half was pretty sad, we were quite easily outplayed. We started some good counters but these also didn't produce anything too dangerous.

3-0 FT. Not many positives to be taken from this match.

England beats Lithuania 4-0 at home btw.
