A Le Coq Arena opening match. Mart Poom was commentator. Btw both players who played in 2001 and are still now in squad (Oper and Piiroja) scored in that match. Althrough Piiroja scored an own goal Both players got maximum mark for game from Õhtuleht (5).
And Louis Van Gaal was already then Netheland coach. Our coach was then dutch Arno Pjipers who now works in Estonia FA as sports director
He support Estonia on friday.

Anyway Estonians appreciate and remember this game more than any Euro 2012 match

will be a tough one...

people on the Dutch forum predict this as their starting lineup:

Code:
            Stekelenburg
Janmaat - De Vrij - Mathijsen/Vlaar? - BMI
         Clasie/De Guzman
      Strootman - Sneijder
Lens - Van Persie - Robben

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Newspaper Postimees predict for training line up
Sergei Pareiko
Enar Jääger-Morozov-Klavan-Teniste
Sander Puri-Sergei Mošnikov-Konstantin Vassiljev-Tarmo Kink
Henrik Ojamaa
Sergei Zenjov

Seems to be suicide. Too ****ing attacking (if its true)
http://sport.postimees.ee/1175478/ee...iiroja-pingil/
Zenjov returned to training in January. He had one year long knee injury and he last match for Estonia were against N-Ireland in October 2012. Btw he scored a goal against Italy in 2010. Personally he`s my favorite player for Estonia. Very very speed

looks like "nothing to lose" lineup...I don't think we will see this team on the pitch, it's not Rüütli's style to risk like this.

Change de Guzman for Clasie and Lens for Schaken and you've got the starting XI I think.

Good luck.

Knoert the line up is official. De Guzman and Lens are both starting, while BMI is moved to the centre and Blind starts as LB. The most surprising thing is to see Vermeer starting in goal.

Ok didn't know that. So Vermeer starts with Stekelenburg on the bench? That's surprising for sure! Not so surprised about the other changes as it's normal to play with an attacking formation versus Estonia.

Nah, not really.

In general most people prefer De Kuip in Rotterdam as the atmopshere is better there most of the time compared to Amsterdam. Despite that the Dutch FA decided to move all home games, except one I believe, to Amsterdam because in their stadium facilities for sponsors are better. De Kuip is a bit old fashioned, Amsterdam ArenA more modern. Don't think it really affects the performances though.

I think if you use google translate you get a point of this

Anyway Estonia coach T.Rüütli and captain Ragnar Klavan sees the chance to suprise Netherland and take some point.
We have all our best players in squad (there is no any players injured).
Btw Russian referee got mark "unsatisfactory" for his last Russian league match on

Almost offical line up
Pareiko

Puri-Vassiljev-Vunk (?)-Kruglov
Ojamaa
Oper

So biggest suprise is Kruglov, who last played for his club in last summer

this looks bad...really bad

I really don't get this Lindpere hating by our coach...surely he'd could play on Kruglov's position and probably perform better than the guy who hasn't played for god knows how long...

0-0 HT...we're parking the bus and doing it well. Vassiljev even got some solid shots on goal before the end.
