the pitch really looked awful in the Poland match

will it really be cancelled?

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov intends to pay for the match between the Russian and Lithuanian national football teams in Grozny set for November 12, Chechen Sport Minister Khaydar Alkhanov told RIA Novosti.

Alkhanov underlined that the tickets to the game will be given out free of charge, as Kadyrov “decided to give a present to the fans.”

According to Alkhanov, national ensembles may also perform at the stadium for about half an hour before the match.

Meanwhile, the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry (MFA) has expressed concern over the Lithuanian Football Federation’s decision to hold the game in Grozny, as Chechnya is on the list of places not recommended to visit for the Lithuanian citizens.

At the same time, Kadyrov called the Lithuanian MFA’s position inappropriate, saying that Lithuania was trying to “politicize sports” by making such statements.
