at this moment: nobody knows, it's possible 14 but probably 10, wait and see...

Sūduva is also active in the market. They signed former Ekranas and Vėtra manager Liubšys and now they are seemingly signing all former Vėtra players. They have already signed Ražanauskas, Borovskij, Eliošius and Mašitšev and also have Stanaitis and Lyakh on trial.

And they look a good bet for a title as well. Ekranas underwent a major redevelopment and it may take time for a team to gel. They lost their best player (Galkevičius), they lost their most fearsome player (Ademolu) and they lost their topscorer (Rimkus).

Now this is hilarious. The championship begins this weekend and the major thread in Lithuanian football forum is "How many teams will participate in the tournament". The best post in the thread was like saying "You lads are brave to predict such a distant future".

I guess third world countries in the middle of African or Asian deserts organize their leagues better than we do.

Some read in English on UEFA website :
http://en.uefa.com/memberassociation...d=1606015.html

Quote:
FK Tauras may also be dark horses for European qualification when the season concludes on 6 November. Their winter recruits have included Dutch midfielder Regilio Seedorf, nephew of AC Milan's Clarence Seedorf.
It's cool to have a seedorf in its team.

No. Before this season they were called REO and won South tournament of II lyga (third division).

More intriguingly it was rumoured that they were negotiating with an administrator of FK Žalgiris (that is the old Žalgiris club that went bankrupt couple of years ago) about a possible buying of clubs name.

Yeah, I think they played their first home game of the season there yesterday.

And now LFF have decided that REO cannot use Žalgiris name.
