WC 2010 Qualifier | Belgium v Estonia | 06.09

According to the new FIFA ranking we're 128th NT on Earth, far behind such football powerhouses as Cape Verde islands, New Caledonia and Hong Kong

It's not an easy match to start the new campaign - a draw would be regarded as a massive success against the Rode Duivels.

We have some young guns in the lineup who hopefully can show promise. Sergei Zemjonov, a 19-year old forward who is relatively unknown, might even be a starter vs Belgium. Sander Puri and Ats Purje will probably feature too at some point.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

cool did not even knew Estonia had a NT, who are the starting 12? 12 Alcoholics or 12 maniac depressive players with suicidal tendencies?

Or you guys are just fielding 12 russians and calling them Estonians as usual, if they do good they keep being Estonians if they suck they are back to being Russians.

This result flattered us, it wasn't a close match and we really sucked in defense. But at least we managed to score some goals.

We couldn't create much in 1st half and Sonck gave the Belgians a lead but in the 2nd half we started to play quite well and on 69th minute Zenjov finished an excellent short pass combination to make it 1-1. Soon after that Lindpere had a good chance to gave us the lead but their keeper saved.

But of course we broke down in the final minutes and allowed them to score two easy goals. Oper scored our second goal minutes before the final whistle when it was already clear that belgium will take the 3 points.

Still this match showed some signs of improvement compared to our awful form during the last couple of years.
