After our recent home defeat from the minors Moldova, I am not very optimistic about this one. Northern Ireland in in good shape, they are the on the top of out table and they struggle for going to the Alps next year. I think they will beat us 1:2. We can make some positive result if we play to out best and erase the errors from the past couple of games.

a must win game for norn iron if we want anyhting from this game.

Im hoping Verpakovskis will be just as quiet as he was at Windsor.

For the first time in years northern ireland have serious competition for places particuarly in the centre of midfield and defence.

the team is likely to be

----------------Taylor

Baird------Hughes------Craigan-----Mc Cartney

Gilespie-----Clingan-----Davis------Johnson/Brunt

----------Healy---------Lafferty

Im not sure if Johnson will even start the game but Brunt as never really impressed me in green and i have a weird feeling Worthington will try Johnson on the left of midfield. I cant see the Davis-Clingan partnership being broken just yet

latvia win at home 1-0

Northern ireland couldnt get going as when they tried a LAtvia player would make a terrible tackle and get away with it, it happened throughout the entire game, terrible refereeing i think and led to the more performance from them

Although some of NI's passes did go a stray a bit to often and set pieces also could have been a wee bit better.

I knew it will happen p

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim
