Our best player Oper is out again and so is Allas. Loads of random youngsters called up again, even players like Aristov from Levadia reserve team who has played only couple of games even in Estonian league. Calling up Voskoboinikov seems like a good idea though, he is the only attacker besides Oper who is regularly playing in a good league and he can't possibly be worse than Neemelo anyway.

But yeah, getting even one point out of these two difficult home matches would be like a miracle.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Last time we met Croatia was in the EURO2004 qualifiers. In the first match of the campaign we met them away at Osijiek and got a 0-0 draw in one of our best away performances ever. We lost 0-1 at home but that match wasn't that bad either. Of course our squad was also much better back then and we had more disicplined gameplan and more confidence.

Our NT has been pathetic lately, so I don't expect a result.

Oh well, at least i won a ticket to the match.

Try and take some pictures Erki. Especially of Croatian Number 19 Niko Kranjcar. :smileani:

Hey, we didn't play half bad. Unlucky we couldn't score at least once.

in reality the draw would be much fairer result
can't say i'm sad to see it end the way it did...

still hats off to you. you boys gave it their best and we could learn more from you than you can from us.

The result was another dissapointment: still no points and no goals

The performance itself wasn't bad though, it was the only good show next to the home match against Israel that we have had in this campaign. But much like in Israel match, we were again hopeless up front when it came to converting chances. This team simply lacks the goalscoring edge completely (especially when Oper is out) and you can't win games without scoring goals.

By the way, according to uefa.com statistics we had 8 shots on goal and 5 of them on target...Croatia had 5 on goal and only 1 on target. Although soccernet.ee's stats give 7/3 to Estonia and 8/3 to Croatia. Corners were 7 for us and 4 to them.

I hate Srna. Kicked Klavan while he was getting up. Nice to see Klavan getting agressive after that though.

The situation where someone hit Klavan and Poom got a yellow summed up the game.
