It will be hard to do that in away match. Estonia got trashed 0-4 last time when we played them in Russia.

But yeah, good luck.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Just a friendly, but nice to see squad bit renewed. Kļava and Ivanovs (defense) last year played for U- teams. Gorkšs have spent seasons in Sweden highest league. Prospective players for sure. Višņakovs in the middle is fast and technic player, however lacks expierence, which will sure come with years. And i'm sure Andrejevs will let them play, and they'll try to show their best to become main squad men. Have no idea thou what Prohorenkovs is doing there, he has no game practice at all. Why not to try the guy who was in trial for AC "Milan" ?

Name me those 7? For your knowledge - surname does not express anything in Latvia. Māris Smirnovs, Andrejs Rubins - they're Latvians. Verpakovskis either. Then, let me make a little off-topic, and ask, how much Russians are there in Russia NT? Akinfeev, Bilaletdinov, Pavluchenko, Izmailov - does not sound Russians, and i think it's not a secret that for Russia NT in many sport play many nation men, who just have Russian citizenship, because Russia is largely mixed country. But you see, none talks about that. Why you bother about Latvia then? You should stop such comentaries, which are useless.

Not a bad result really considering it was an away match.

Guys - If someone plays for Russia, they're Russian. If someone plays for Lativa - They're Latvian. None of this "ethnic this, ethnic that" nonsense. They obviously chose to represent that country for a reason. Latvian NT = 100% Latvian.

Yes i saw the game. Overall it Russia NT was technically better, faster. Latvian players seemed tired + 3-4 players were without game practice. Russia domintated the game both periods. Game got more tie when Latvia sent out 4th midfielder, some dangerous attacks were made, in one Verpakovskis went 1 to 1 with goalkeeper, but didn't manage to score, however he was very close, closer than any Russian moments altogether. A tie would be great result for Latvia, but on 94th (last) minute Russia scored goal after midfielder and guards mistakes.

P.S - Check Dmitrys last post, in Russian it is very harsh abuse, equal to english 4 letter combination, starting with f.

Perhaps if he didn't call Russians bastards twice I wouldn't have responded.
