Last year Mart Poom (Goalkeeper - Estonia) Robert Poskus (Forward - Lithuania) And Maris Verpakovskis (Forward - Latvia) were elected best player of their respective country, so i guess it could be one of this three.
I would say Verpakovskis, even if i am biased

Personally i`m not informed about Marius Stankevicius, isn`t he Lithuanian ?
But about Latvia - i`d call Gatis Kalniņš, cause as Verpakovskis has left, this man keeps scoring and playing well, he`s even invited for NT. There`s young and perspective 18 years old Kristaps Blanks, but he needs more and more practice.

In my opinion it's either Verpakovskis or Jankauskas (Lithuanian forward playing in Porto).

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Oh, question is about player from Baltics, no matter if he`s playing abroad or in local championship? Then i`m for Verpakovskis, cause he has proved that through the way to the Euro2004 and now with playing for Dinamo and keeps scoring for them either.

difficult question, as neither of the countries have star players. I'd agree with your opinion however.
