According to soccernet.ee there's even as much as 18 players with Estonian passport playing in foreign leagues (including Russian international Valery Karpin).Full list can be found here. But most of these 18 are second rate players unknown even in Estonia.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Your forgot two key players for Latvia, it`s our playmaker Vitālijs Astafjevs who plays in Austria for "Herold Admira" and Imants Bleidelis who plays for "Viborg" in Denmark. They both are stable NT players. Except this it`s all correct Although there are few more players playing abroad but till now they`re not so important to mention.

3 footballers from Latvia are close to sign a contract with foreign clubs. Ģirts Karlsons from "Liepajas Metalurgs" most probably next season is playing in Russia premier-league club "Shinnik", Viktors Dobrecovs from "Liepajas Metalurgs" too is very close to be a part of Ukraine team "Arsenal" from Tula, and Vits Rimkus from "Ventspils" has interested Russia premier-league team "Uralan".
In summary can say it`s very postitive, despite it`s close, in Russia, objectivly level there is higher than in Latvia, and as all 3 of them are part of Latvia NT, they need better practice field. I wish luck to them and hope they all will sign a contract soon with new clubs.

I was wondering, is Stepanovs on loan at Bereven through the link Arsenal - Bereven or has he sign definitively there ?

Bereven is a strange team who use a lot of players from an ivoary formation center "The academy of abidjan", a lot of people come from al belgium to see them playing.......

Stepanovs is still playing in Beveren and seems that will play there till Euro2004. He said that there`s no interest in England about him of other clubs, so he decided not to sit and keep up football practice - and as Beveren is satisfied with him, he`s playing there.

It`s possible that this season a lot of players from Latvia will get a job abroad. Andrejs Štolcers is on trial for Admira Wacker in Austria - in 6 games he scored 3 goals. Viktors Dobrecovs from Liepājas Metalurgs is on trial for Ukrainian Tula "Arsenal" - in 4 games scored 4 goals. Vits Rimkus can almost get into Russia first division club Shinnik. There`s an interest about Skonto striker Gatis Kalniņš who`s been very resultative during Commonwealth Cup. Ģirts Karlsons from Liepājas Metalurgs almost signed a contract with Shinnik. So it all means latvians could get abroad in a "huge" amount which will give them more practice before Euro2004 and even for World Cup qualifyin round which i think is positive for all NT in general - our Māris Verpakovskis is getting very well with Dinamo Kiev, in last 2 games he had played in duo with Maksim Shackih, and gave 2 assists which resulted as goals. Stepanovs has become a stable player for Belgium club Beveren.

Well that would be good news for Štolcers is he could play more often.
Admira Wackers seems to be standing in the middle of their championship.
The championship will restart the 21th of February.

Und wenn ich gut die Sprache von Goethe verstehen, they would play a trial game tomorrow :
Testspiel: HEROLD Admira - FC Petrzalka
Datum: 28.01.04
Uhrzeit: 14:30 Uhr
Ort: Südstadt

I think you meant "Arsenal" Kyiv, because Arsenal from Tula is a Russian team. He is doing great in pre-season though.

Estonian defender Andrei Stepanov from FC Flora signed a 3-year contract with Russian club Torpedo Moscow. 24-year old Stepanov has played 43 games for Estonian NT.He has proven himself as a very consistent and reliable centre back.

Stepanov steps up to Torpedo
Thursday, 29 January 2004

Estonia defender Andrei Stepanov has left FC Flora to join Russian Premier League side FC Torpedo Moskva, where he will link up with international colleague Andres Oper.

Three-year contract
Torpedo are understood to have paid around €200,000 for Stepanov, who has signed a three-year contract. The 24-year-old centre-back impressed Torpedo coach Sergei Petrenko during a trial at the club's training camp in Turkey. After signing the deal, he helped them keep a clean sheet in a goalless draw with Swiss side Servette FC on Thursday.

Clear objective
"The contract is signed and now my objective is to get a permanent place in the starting lineup," said Stepanov, who came close joining another Russian club, FC Zenit St. Peterburg, this time last year only for Zenit to pull out of the transfer.

Gang of four
Stepanov, capped 43 times by Estonia, is a product of the Tallinn Football School. He had been with Flora since 1997 and has played 149 top-flight games, scoring seven goals. He is the fourth Estonian in the Russian Premier Division, joining Oper, SC Rotor Volgograd goalkeeper Sergei Pareiko and young striker Tarmo Kink, who is at FC Spartak Moskva.
