A decent roster, but Blokhin could experiment a bit more. Then, the Spring brings bunch of important games. May be it is not time for experiments.

Forgot to add that Nesmachny is missing as well...
Re: Rebrov, Blokhin said that he knows his capabilities well and he doesnt have to prove himself in this friendly game...
As for Sheva, he asked Blokhin to be called up since he needs match practise...

...and of course Chyhrysnky, who, although was already called up for the UNT never had a chnace to debut...

Levchenko. What's he like? Which side does he play best?

Dynamo Kyiv are better than Shakhtar Donnetsk!

He's a midfielder... I think he might be used on the left in the UNT...

Who needs a pen taker? Shev sticks 'em away in matches and Sasho keeps clean sheets in shoot-outs. p

Good to see Levchenko is finally included in the side
On a side note Boudianski has stated that he would like to be called up by Blokhin and play for Ukraine.

The guy said the same thing about Russia and Hiddink few months ago...
I understand he wants to play on an international level, but the way he's trying to achieve it is wrong... Personally, i dont want him on the UNT squad anymore...

While its nice that Sheva asked to be included in the squad, he has started playing a little bit more and that may prove to be bit a problem for him actually in the friendly.

Given the number of injuries in Chelsea at the moment, upper management maybe put severe pressure so that theie huge investment doesn't get injured with huge games still come (FA, League Cup, ECL) and of course the league.

I think (as of 1/31/07) Sheva will show up and play some minutes, but this could abruptly change some game time.

We lacked a lot of creativity in the midfield during the WC and he could just be the answer. Maybe not at present but for the future. At least they should consider giving him a cap when we play wasteful friendlies like against Azerbaijan to secure his services.

I see Sheva only playing half a game max. The only reason why he put his hand up was to move away from the pressure and try to find his form back through the national team.

Saciuk, just couple of months ago he was "proudly" saying he was Russian, seeing that after Ukraine's WC glory he would have much tougher time getting into that team...
Now that he reliased that Hiddink doesnt pick just any player for the RNT, only becuase they play in a stronger league, he used the same card to lure Blokhin's attention to himself... Tough luck, kid...

Both U-21 and UNT games seem to be shown on FSTV 1 (channel) on Sopcast (streaming program)...
The url to the channel is as follows:
sop://211.152.34.34:3912/9873

You wont be able to open that URL unless you have SopCast installed on your computer. If you do, then the program will automatically open and will search for the right channel.

You can download SopCast either from here or here

This channel will start working 10 minutes prior to the game. Although, there is a possibility only registered members will be able to watch, lets hope its not the case this time...

P.S. There's also another simpler way. It seems the game will also be shown on Israel 10 channel. You can watch it with your Windows Media Player using the following link:
mms://tenWZA.walla.tv/10

Finally, my prediction: Ukraine to win 1:0 (Sheva to score)

Your channel 10 link will not work. They only show news shows on this link. There is no working link for Channel 10 Israel that work.

But thanks for the Sopcast link

If someone who's watching the game could update us on the progress that would be great.
