Nah, it's just supporting the team . It's way better then just sitting there doing nothing . It's when they fight and purposely cause trouble (which not all of them do) that I dislike them.

In terms of atmosphere, yes, they are... Especially during Dynamo/Shakhtar or Cup games... I Lviv people try to support like English (with songs) and Italians (flares/fireworks)... Of course it hasnt spread amongst all fans... Some still live in the old Soviet times, when supporting a team means coming to their games to to eat sunflower seeds and drink a beer/vodka. But slowly things are changing. Many football players and coaches agreed that when the national team played in Lviv (on 3 occassion) the atmosphere was fantastic and uncomparable to any other city.

P.S. In terms of fights, they are quite rare (if there are its probably between a bunch of drunkers), but this year the tension was very high in the Dyn-Kar games... No fights were recorded as far as I know (if you dont call a police beating of the visiting fans a fight), but few flares and bottles were thrown from Dynamo sectors into Karpaty's and vice versa...

Devilz you are a 22 year old American??? No offence but Kozak and Roman (both Ukrainian I believe) speak better English than you.

P.S I am 18, have lived in Britain all my life and have no Ukrainian links whatsoever. All my family and friends are baffled as to why I support DK, as am I. I have no idea why, other than they played well in the Champions League and beat Arsenal (who I hate due to their large amounts of foreign players and blind manager) on several occasions.

Dynamo Kyiv are better than Shakhtar Donnetsk!

What an embarrassment to the country.

There is no place for hooliganism in Ukrainian football.

An embarresment to the country? Wtf? :dielaugh:

I agree I hate the hooliganism part of it but flares, flags, scarves, jerseys, singing, dancing, yelling, etc = True class, supporting your team and helping it achieve success . In Ukraine there is a difference between "Ultras" and "Hooligans", I don't know if there is in other countries of Europe though.
