____________________________________________
Over the past 2 years Anatoliy has been linked to the likes of ManU, Arsenal, Chelsea and Milan, but the club president was reluctant to let his star player go. One of the reason was that SHakhtar didnt have enough Ukrainian players to cover for the foreign players limit. Now that the club's signed a bunch of promising talents, and seeing that Anatoliys ambition goes beyond the UPL, the presidnet is willing to offload the midfielder for the right price after the world cup... The potential transfer value is 9mln euro, but the value will undoubtedly increase if Anatoliy does well at the upcoming world cup...

The most intesrest towards the player came from Arsenal and ManU...

The story goes on...

P.S. Tymoschuk's official home page is: http://www.tymoshchuk.com/ (only Ukrainian and Russian versions are available though)

For the right money, of course. But it will take a major European club for Timoshyk to leave cozy Donetsk.

What are the right money in ur opinion, yurchishin?
I think the current transfer value of 9mln euro is a bit too low...
What you think?

Even for the right money,i dont agree...if he is the symbol of the club why to do that and Akhmetov altough lose money with the orange revolution is still so rich and Timochuk money will not make much difference because none top western player will come to Donetsk anyway....

So i will not sell him, unless for 25-30 millions euros.....with this money i could buy voronin and the best Czech and Russian player...

Well, no one gonna offer anything more now - WC will be a great showcase for players like Timoshyk and others - it will be their best chance to land a Big payday when so many scouts and coaches will be watching them. I like it. It means nearly all Ukrainians will fight for the nation's honor and their ticket into big future as well. So, let's wait what happens in Germany - it will give everyone a price tag.

Again, you grossly underestimating the resourcefullness of the Ukr football. :rollani: With all your knowledge of its history, it's perplexing :rollani:

Kleber, Tymoschuk has expressed his wish to play in a big western club one day... He just turned 27 and is at his pick (or at least close to it) and if he doesnt move now, it might be too late soon....
Remember when Liverpool almost signed Dynamo's Holovko? The guy was at his pick, but the club wanted too much for him and, well you know the story with him... He went to China somewhere and then came back to Tavria, where he played for a bit and has been relised recently...

P.S. Akhmetov knows that after the WC his price tag will be at its absolute pick and selling him would be a good managerial decision...

As his recent transactions show (Shyst, Haj), Axmet is willing to consider Ukr players for the key positions. And I am sure it will continue as Ukr football gain its speed. It means appreciation of the simple fact that the best Ukr players are better than mediocre Brazilian players.

Got no problems with them. I just telling you that things are changing even in Shaxtar. There will be 3 new Timoshyks among Ukr players if he departs.

I think Shakhtar have good depth (although their reserves, or Shakhtar-2 dont show it). Players like Fomin, Karamushka, Pukanych and others have to leave to find first team opportunities. Lucescu does not believe in his youth system I dont think. Or at least Ukrainians as players in his system...thats why that Dutch fellow was brought in. Shakhtar will run Ukrainian football quite soon, if no-one does anything to catch up to them very soon. They will produce quality Ukrainians, just give it some time. 5 years ago, this team was just a Metalurh Donetsk, but look what money and decent management can do right?

Tymoschuk wont be let go for more less that $18m i think...
