Scotland v Ukraine

Where will the game be played do you think? How much does the beer cost? and what is the best way of getting to your country from ours?

http://taboard.com/forum/index.php?showforum=35

Good luck

Hope some of your questions will be answered here:
http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/co...d=1093_0_1_0_C

It is very unlikely that we will play you in Kyiv, because the stadium is being renovated for the Euro2012, which hopefully will take place in Ukraine & Poland;
So, there is a good posibility that you will go to Dnipropetrovsk (to play at the home ground of Dnipro FC) or probably Donetsk (homeground of Shakhtar FC)

P.S. beer is really cheap!!!

Yes, and stadiums are quite shit. To NT standards anyway, hopefully the game will be played in Lviv, as the city is quite nice. By 2012 hopfeully we get at least three world class stadiums, and Donetsk would have finished their masterpiece too.

I think it depends how early and crucial the fixture against the Scots is going to be. If we draw them as out first qualifier; it will be in Kyiv for sure.

I doubt it will be in Kyiv or Lviv... There'll been a number of news articles lately about FIFA not allowing the Euro-2008 Qualifyers to be played there. Even Surkis said it himself that its doubtful...
Also, its unlikely Lviv will hold any of the games. Dont know the exact reason for that, but Surkis doesnt need any reasons - no one ever question him...
It would be a pity, cuase we have a 100% record in Lviv!!

Oh, well, only time will tell...

I honestly dont know... There definetely be a lot of "local" Ukrainians from all over Great Britain, but its quite expensive to travel for middle class Ukrainians to Scotland/England/Ireland, but im sure there will be some people travelling...

Theres a group Ukrainians of around 20 from Yorkshire with Ukrainian decent that are definatley going to the Scotland game at Hampden. We're also looking at Paris and Rome, and maybe even the Faroe Islands, dates will determine whether we go or not.

And anyone going to Germany this year, FIFA have taken the money from my account for tickets for all the group games i applied for!!! Still waiting for email confirmation though!!

I read a thing about the Olympskyi stadium and how the building site infront of it has actually be spoken about in Rada, it looks like building should have actually been put on hold, but it hasn't.

I was at the site in August, what would be the chances of moving the main exit to the opposite side of the ground, because its not to built up on that side, this would help ease movement on the construction side of the ground.

As a Thun fan who travelled to Kyiv for the Champions League qualification game I can confirm that. You should also try Nemiroff which is a killer

According to my mate in Kyiv Ukrainian sports sites even reported the sacking of our coach, so you would not have forgotten us anyway

Come on, I did not want to stir up fan trouble...

I can only recommend anyone to go to Ukraina if ever you have the possibility

Cheers
