If you dont know, then ask in a normal way, but dont show ur unintelligence with the "wtf is" questions....!!!! Its really disrespectful, especially if its about possibly the best ever Eastern European player...!!!

As for ASG's question...
Its very hard to say who's better, but ONLY because i wasnt around to see Blokhin play, i would go with Sheva, BUT...
during the Sheva era in Dynamo, we only managed to get into the semi-final of the Champions League in 1999, while during the Blokhin era Dynamo won European Cup Winners Cup TWICE and European SUPER CUP once!!!

During Blokhin era Dynamo was absolutely superior in the Soviet league, which included all strong teams from Russia, Ukraine and other states...

Blokhin also holds the following USSR National Records:
=> for winning the most Sovier title (8 titles)
=> being League Top Scorer (5 times)
=> being named USSR Player of the Year (3 times) and
=> for winning 2 European Cup Winner Cups...

Like Sheva (2004), Blokhin has also won the Golden Ball (Ballon d'Or) once in 1975 and been nominated on numerous ocassions...

So if you purely judge on the number of titles/trophies a player won, then I would say that Blokhin was better... Otherwise, you have to ask someone who seen Blokhin "live"...

P.S I've seen his goals against Bayern Munich in Europe and they were absolutely fabulous...

Im dont know much about this guy, so could you tell me is he's any good? is there any room for progress?

As for your above post: its ok... at least now if someone asks you, you'll always be able to say that you know another Ukrainian who was as great (if not greater) than Sheva...

Well back then it was one coutnry USSR and during the split up, many had a choice of either choosing Ukrainian or Russian passport (or any other if you had family connections in that part of the Soviet, which MANY MANY did)...
There are some Russian international players that were born in Ukraine and some Russians that played for us...
So its not that uncommon/strange...

I don't know about that.

Are you saying Shevchenko supported Yanukovich? So did Yana Klochkova, the posters were all over Kyiv last year.

No. For me, most of the Ukrainians who voted for him a) Had to. b) Were misled, by some "people", so they voted for Yanukovych where as if they knew the whoel story wouldnt of c)Were highly involved in the mafia etc etc etc. Klochkova or whoever u said voted for him too can do whatever the hell she wants, shes living in USA soon anyway, or so I heard. No one else publicly supported that mobster. Other then Shevchenko, but like alot of people who supported Yanukovych, he was kind of forced to do so so I guess I cant call him a coward. Anyways, big respect to the Klichko bros for how they handeled it all
