the little derby: SPARTA - BOHEMIANS

It's been 4.5 years without Sparta-Bohemians derby in our league, not that it's no.1 match of the autumn, but it still brings something extra, I think many people are looking forward to it.

Last time these 2 teams faced each other (02/03 season) Sparta won in Dolicek and managed to send Bohemians down to the 2nd division. 5127 spectators (incredibly low number, isn't it?) saw a 1-2 victory of Sparta, however the result was contumated to 0-3 later becuase of the famous "Ritchie incident" - the insultation of incredibly poor linesman Talpa. (not that the other refs were of any quality...) Bohemians then had to play their home matches in Pardubice.

93/94 Sparta-Bohemians 5-0 (3089)
93/94 Bohemians-Sparta 1-1 (6305)
94/95 Sparta-Bohemians 3-1 (5731)
94/95 Bohemians-Sparta 1-2 (11977)
96/97 Sparta-Bohemians 3-4 (7966)
96/97 Bohemians-Sparta 0-1 (9100)
99/00 Sparta-Bohemians 0-0 (10125)
99/00 Bohemians-Sparta 0-1 (10582)
00/01 Bohemians-Sparta 4-2 (7812)
00/01 Sparta-Bohemians 1-0 (9150)
01/02 Bohemians-Sparta 2-1 (10245)
01/02 Sparta-Bohemians 2-0 (3713)
02/03 Sparta-Bohemians 3-0 (2577 )
02/03 Bohemians-Sparta 1-2 => 0-3 (5127)

As you can see it's not like the derby with Slavia, Sparta won 9 times since 1993, Bohemians just managed to win 3 matches and got only 2 draws.

9-2-3

In Letna Bohemians won in 96/97, got a draw the season after but then were only losing.

5-1-1

Fans-wise it's like a feast mainly for Bohemians, they want to win against the unbeatable representant of evil , the matches in Dolicek had often more than 10000 spectators while Sparta fans don't care that match (see the attendances on Letna).

This time it's different IMHO. We all know the recent story of Bohemians and what happened with the fans and despite the possition in the table we can expect the sector for hosts (2700) sold out and maybe other green-white fans elsewhere on the stadium. For Sparta it's first match against "the new Bohemka" (the cup match I don't count, nobody really cared) and they won't leave their players alone. Especially after promising results recently and huge victory in Most. I think 10000 fans will arrive and will see an entertaining match.

For me - it is a match of the autumn and I will also create my first flag and maybe also transparent.

Sparta will win the match if they score first goal, no question. I hope the lady luck is going to assist us and we will somehow (how?) score the first and have something to play for.

Can't wait!

Surely a good match, surely Sparta deserved the victory.

However we were not that bad when it was 0-0, what a pity we didn't hold on that until the end of the first half.

2 goals were mistakes of Snozik. Especially the penalty incident, he was so naive! On the other hand I am not sure if it was more a faul or diving but the faul there was so

When 3-0 it was frustrating for me, there were other like 3 chances ...

But then our players managed to rise their heads up again and scored one and were trying to add one more. I was enjoying the end of the match again.

Possitive of the game: both coaches put an 18-year-old talent into the starting XI and they were both the best players of their teams.

And my flag? They didn't allow it. Same problems were with choreo ...

NO AL CALCIO MODERNO !!!

Btw it's not a good feeling to be defeated by Sparta. :depress: And Sunday was bad aswell, Parma lost 2-0 lead in Tardini against Juve.

Oh, and the attendance was a huge disappointment. Btw the Sparta reservation system is stupid. Why don't they sell it via ticketportal, ticketstream, ticketpro etc?

That is true. If I want to reserve good seats I have to be online the second the match is posted, otherwise all the good seats are reserved, but to people who don´t go to the match. I will go back to season tickets in the spring half of the season.

Good match though, and the weather was a lot of fun! I had my usual flask of slivovice to keep me warm, but I think next time I will take two

Btw according to Sport (newspaper) Sparta offered Sylvestre and some money for Moravek in the summer !

Btw (2) I'm curious where Kozak (Opava) will go in the winter. He can't stay in SFC, can he?
