Friendly: August 17th --Portugal vs EGYPT

A big friendly coming up. I have high hopes this time to be honest, we have a good team and if Shehata plays it smart and brave we might be in for something big. Mido and Ahmed Hassan are the 2 confirmed pros to take part so far, expecting Zidan, Amir Azmy, Bshier, Ghaly, and maybe El Saka joining too.

I'm really looking forward to this one too.

Last time we played against a World class side we got our es handed to us in Paris by a depleted France team that missed the likes of David Trezeguet, Thuram, Makelele, Vieira and Zidane. Yet we had a dork managing the team in Mohsen Saleh so we're better off this time around under the guidance of Hassan Shehata, who I have faith in.

Shehata has transformed the national team and made a big impact on our playing style. Now we play decent, attacking football ( RIP, Gohary's 8-1-1 tactic ) and exploit our technical qualities to the fullest.

Tarek el-Sayed to own C.Ronaldo.

Meteb to make Andrade look like a fool. p

Mido to school Carvalho.

Go Pharaohs

P.S. 7000 posts

Mabrook 3al posts ya m3alem

And yea, the stirke force of Meteb and Mido is going to be very interesting, they did a good job together Vs Libya, and back then Mido wasn't as fit as he is now. Plus if we add Zidan to the mix, then we're seriously in for some entertaining attack-play.

Not so sure about the Tarek El-Sayed - C.Ronaldo part though p

Now I don't have a problem with the idea of Mido schooling Carvalho, it may be possible considering Mido is quite the talent, but Tarek schooling C. Ronaldo? Come on ..

As usual, this information will remain secret up until matchday. We never learn. :rollani: anyways, thats not my major concern, I just hope the stadium is done by the time.

Actually, Ahlawy was talking about the Portugal game answering my question on that.

I agree on the "we never learn" part though, common sense in all of the Arab World

The AFA announced today that they have not reached an agreement with the sponsors yet about the game, as for Diego they said that he has to be invited personally to attend the game.

I hope they do reach an agreement.

Hey guys, I'm looking forward to this game as well. It's been a long time since we got to see our NT play. The squad will be very depleted of its regular starters.

Figo will be there, Ronaldo and Deco will not. Scolari is using this game to test out some new players and get a look at them in competition. Boa Morte has been called in last minute to replace Ronaldo.

On defense we will be missing Valente and Miguel, both were good during last year's Euro. Maniche will not be there either.

If any of you are desperate to see the game, and cannot find it on the tube, you can see it online for $10.00, (one month's worth of access) to Jumptv.
