WCQ Day 4: Egypt Vs Cameroon

This is a do or die game. Any result other than a win and we'll have to start preparing for a possible WC2010 appearence. We already lost 5 points out of 9 so we seriously cant afford loosing any more. Anyways, I think we have a really good chance of winning this game if our players will be on form InshaAllah.

If they play like men yes we can win otherwise see u in 2010 qualifications!

Zidan could boost the stagnant fwd line but we really need solid CBs

The game should be on the 5th of September IshaAllah.

I really don't think we need Zidan though. Mido and Bilal is an ideal partnership upfront (remember the Madagascar game). With Abutrieka behind them in midfield, we'll have a strong striking force. The real problem however does lie in the CB's. We really need Hany Ramzy back! Beshier is too slow and El-Saka sometimes makes desecive mistakes that cost dearly (like IC's second goal).

Anyways hopefully El-Hadary wont be our keeper, AbdelWahed El Sayed will be good i guess.

agree ya Ahlawy here is my line up 3ala baraket ALLAH:

Abdelwahed Sayed

Islam-Saka-Besheer-Wahab

A.Hassan(Fathy)-Shawky(Tamer)-H.Mostafa

Abo Treeka

Mido-Belal(Zidan)

Sadly I dont think there r any good CBs right now but I would hope soon there would be when Ramy Adel and Emad El-Nahas start for Ahly also Amr Fahim may not be bad at all.

Tartar ofcourse wont play with 3 fwds as he will die by his 4-4-2

Its so dumb how the guy chose the formation before even seeing the players. What the heck, ur supposed to choose the formation that best suits your players. Anyways he WILL use the 4-4-2 eventhough we conceeded 2 from CDV and 3 from Benin.

So with a 4-4-2 I would prefer to see this:

-----------------------------AbdelWahed-------------------------------
--Fathy-----------Bshier-------------------El-Saka--------T.El-Sayed---
--A.Hassan--------AbdRabou-----------Shawki(Tamer)--------Mostafa---
---------------------------Bilal--------Mido-----------------------------

I think Abutrieka should stay as a strong option for the second half. If he starts we wont have any subs capable of changing the game. Also I think Tarek Ek Sayed has more experience than AbdelWahab, remember his superb performance Vs Cameroon in the nations cup, and also his brilliant performance Vs Benin when he came on. Maybe useful subs will be Tarek El Sa3eed, Abdel Wahab, Ossama Hosny, Hazem Emam, and Ismlam El-Shater.

Agreed again.

I do not think too highly of AbdRabour and would rather see him benched though. I would very much like to see Fathi play and agree on subs but Hosny not too much as I do not think much of him and hope Mete`b will soon replace him in both Ahly n NT.

Whats ur take on chances of Amr Fahim, Nahas and Ramy Adel to join soon to fix our dismal defense?

Amr Fahim is actually a very solid CB, if he cools down his temper and starts concentrating more on his game IMO he'll make it to the NT. El Nahas and Ramy Adel could also become useful for the NT. But there's one player I personally think is the most talented Egyptian defender around (after Ramzy of course), that is Wale El Qabbany. I won't forget his outstanding performance Vs Cameroon in the nations cup, If he played Vs Zimbabwe and Algeria Im sure things would have been different. I think he would be a great addition to our nationa team's defence.

I do not know enough about Abbany to state a view as I only saw his Cameroon game but I am sure he cannot be worse than Bsheer and Saka.

I m goin to predict that Gohary will take over when Tartar is gone soon inshALLAH to lead us in the ANC.

Yup exactly ya Hatem. He was our best player in the game alongside Fathy and Ghaly. He really impressed me as he totally managed to destroy all Cameroonian attacks that Eto'o and Mboma were subbed of cause they were totally closed down. Im really surprised Tardelli didnt notice him yet even after his superb performance Vs Ittihad in week 25 of the league.

to tell the truth, there are some good players that can win it for us BUT they do not work as a team all i see atm is a team of individual donkies

the old days were we kicked ass in WC1990 an were proper people like hossam hassan an ibrahim hassan were around, the players did play like a team :eekani:

WE WON 3-2 !!!

Though i'm mighty pissed that we didn't hold on to the 3-0 win with only 4 minutes of added time to go, but a win is a win nonetheless.

Beshir, Goma'a, Ramy Adel, Abdel Wehab, Amr Zaky, Shawqy and Ahmed Hassan were all great on the night.

YESSSSSS!!!!!! 3-2!!!! And we played an awesome game. For once, our defense was superb (except the last 2 mins when Cameroon scored two goals).

Beshir and Gom3a were men of the match, alongside the surprising Amro Zaki who was all over the pitch. Actually all players were good..

Spirit I call it. And for the two late goals we conceeded its lack of experience for such a young team. Mabrook the three points and InshaAllah Libya will be next.
