Oh hell yea. You could call them the next rising power in African Soccer. A team with so much potential that will say its word really soon. They already guarenteed a place for themselves in Egypt 2006 and theyre expected to impress.

Hell NO!

They suck and they suck badly. They have one class player in Tarek el-Tayeb who plays in Turkey and 10 average guys that run all the time. I'd say that they're a hard working below average team. They managed to beat us just because we were coached by a clueless dork and missed chance after chance after chance.

Actually I expect us to beat em big here in Cairo !

Look you meathead

When was the last time your shitty NT qualified to the African Cup of Nations ? I wouldn't even go as far as asking you how many times you won the title because I already know the answer. ZERO.

Libya compared to Egypt is like Peru compared to Brazil. So you got lucky and beat us (one of them was a useless friendly you know) that doesn't mean anything. You still suck !

Your national champs lost to Ghazl el Mahala for fecks sake !!! :dielaugh:

Mido and Zidan up front. All this nonsense about punishing them is good and well but at some point you gotta bring them back into the fold. They are still Egyptian and alienting them forever serves no purpose. We need to win every single game to qualify after the disastor in Libya. These two are by far the most talented strikers we have.

You still believe that we actually stand a chance of making it to the World Cup ? Mate, we need a miracle.

Talent wise, obviously Mido and Zidan are the best we've got. Zidan refused to play for Egypt, so screw him. Even if he was the best player in the world.

Mido was injured so I don't understand the fuss made really.

If you don't believe, you set yourself up for failure. I'm a dreamer and I want to see Egypt in the world cup. Of course, you're right about Mido. My understanding of Zidan's situation is he was picked in a huge selection for a sudan friendly. Tardelli later on decided to play only egypt based players and that pissed off zidan. So I think there was a bit more to it. He is still egyptian and if approached the right way, I'm sure he wants to play for egypt. And he did play for the olympic team. There is a new coach in place although i know nothing about him. Sometimes these players are treated like garbage by the bureaucracy of EFA. I don't think we really know what went on.
