Plizzari, Frattesi, Zaniolo and particularly Scamacca have impressed me so far.

Italy - Norway 1-1 FT

And we are through to the semifinals of the euro tournament. As a consequence we are also qualified to the next under 20 world cup in Poland in 2019.

That means Italy qualified for both the under 17 and under 20 WCs next year after i cadetti reached the final of the under 17 euro cup in May.

Next year will also see Italy host the euro under 21 cup, from which the semi-finalists will qualify for the Tokyo under 23 men's Olympic tournament.

Zaniolo starting to make the Radja transfer make a bit of sense. I like the confident look of this kid. Good future.

It works if you work it.

The U-17 Euro Cup for the WC of same category is next year (every odd year), not this one, as I mistakenly said yesterday.

Nice assist against France today. The french team looked like the the best team in the tournament, so an impressive win for Italy.

Exciting result that sends us to the final vs Portugal. Boys need to keep their feet on the ground for glory.

It works if you work it.

I feared Portugal would reach the final. This time we will hardly be 10v11 for 80 minutes.

I was impressed with the boys, they controlled the game when they wanted to. Even if they don't win, theirs and other youth efforts are giving me new hope.

2-2 after 90 minutes

It's a crazy game and could go either way because the attacks are very good and the defenses are not.

3-2 Portugal now. Again poor our defenders, leave too much room to Jota, who is a devil.

Jota reminds me of a less gifted ricardo quaresma when he was the same age.

tbh the standard of this competition has been poor.
