Does anyone know where we can find a stream for these games? Last time I checked, Wiziwig is down for the count.

I'm sure streams will be available come matchday.

Since 4 teams go through from the group stage, I think it will be a failure if we don't. Everything after that is a bonus.

Do any of those countries besides Croatia have a better tradition in the sport than we do?

FK Sarajevo

- Bosnian-Herzegovinian (BiH) club with the most Yugoslav championships
- BiH club with the most appearances and longest continuous stay in top flight football
- The most succesful BiH club on the Yugoslav league's all-time table
- The most succesful club on the BiH Premier League's all-time table
- BiH club with the most appearances in international and UEFA competition

Looking at Wiki they all seem to be a bit tricky (except Iran tbh). Tunisia has played World Cup 12 times and ended up 4th in 2005. They have also won the African Championship several times. Macedonia has been at 7 major tournaments and they were 5th at the 2012 Euro. Austria somewhat less impressive but they've still done better than us and actually qualified for a couple of tournaments in the recent past (Sweden 2011, Denmark 2014 and they were hosting in 2010)

We're playing at 13:00 CET on Friday? Fantastic planning.

Well, shows how much I know lol.

I always assumed handball was our second most successful (major) team sport after basketball... world class players, continental championship-winning clubs, etc. I mean, I guess it still is, but the competition seems legit too.

Still, if we could upset Iceland to get here, I would think we could finish top 4 in the group.

Macedonia and Tunisia

I'm not expecting a win against Croatia for obvious reasons and both these should give us close games

However, given that we played well against Denmark and Belarus away recently I am quite confident in progressing to the next stage.

Of course the opponents are much more difficult than at first glance, but we've had some great results in the last couple year:

vs. Germany (won 33-24)

vs. Iceland (won 33-32)

@ Iceland (drew 29-29)

@ Belarus (drew 25-25)

And then of course, the close loss to Denmark (by two I believe) where we led for quite some time and were right there through the end. This team can definitely compete against tough teams.

With that being said, I can't be mad that if they don't progress past the first stage. Unlike in football, we weren't even expected to qualify. Couple that with this being our debut at a major tournament in handball and I believe we should just enjoy the experience.

Milas and Građan sent home, only 16 players (+2 reserves) are supposed to be on the list.

Tough luck.

We have to beat Iran today, I think they're the easiest opponent in the group.
