Kada igramo u Sarajevu stalno me vrijeđaju i prozivaju.

U Zenici su me vrijeđali, nazivali četnikom, prijetili meni i mojoj porodici.

U Norvešku sam došao, a selektor me nije nijedan minut uveo u igru.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Interesting article that I thought deserved its own thread.

Really BIH football is so messed up its hard to believe.

1) Of course fans should not be chanting that stuff.
2) How did Jelic get in the team? Did Zukanovic really want him there or was it his father? The article suggests it was obviously his dad because otherwise he would have thanked Zukanovic for the opportunity instead of saying that he favours Bosniaks.

For now we got Ibisevic, Ibricic, Dzeko and probebly Kucukovic soon who can play instead of him and they will be playing because they deserve the spot not cuz daddy is in savez. I dont think the fans did the right thing when they attacked him like that but he shouldnt expect anything else, if his daddy was some BiH football legend instead of a politician maybe the fans would been nicer but a player who has played 15 matches becomes captain....come on

Who gives a shit about him,we are obviously a much better team without him. Dzeko,Vedo,Kucukovic,Dajic are all miles ahead of him.His decision has strengthened our team very much.Lets hope his dad makes the same decision.**** off Jelic.

He didnt play the other day because he thinks he can bribe and threaten his way in - fu.ck off Jelic. No one can be a captain on paper, you earn that along with respect ya monkey bitch!!

Zukanovic's decision had nothing to do with him being a Serb but that he is a spoilt little prick!

Totally agree with you guys! If only his daddy followed this good example and pissed out off the FA. After all, the fans have been chanting crap against him for years now as well. But no, his daddy will of course stay put. What does that say to us? The one lacks character while the other one has it in abundance? No. It only says that both Jelic sr. and Jelic jr. are full of shit.

Ako ste pogledali utakmicu protiv Norveske, mogli ste uviditi da smo igrali vise nego dobro i bez njega.

Hm, actually that article is pretty ok.

I wonder what would you guys think if his name wasnt Jelic? I bet it would be completly opposite.

I never saw the dude playing, but 15 games and 7 goals is impressive.

ufff...Tuborg...bas zato!

I never thought Id say this but, well done Zukanovic.Everything he said is exactly right. How can you justify playing a player who plays for Carl Zeinn II team in the regionliga over Ibisevic(Aachen,Bundesliga) and Dzeko(Teplice,1 div in Czech Rep),plus his teammates dislike him,he did us a favor and left.

5 or so were from the penalty spot - rumours have it that he even demanded to be the penalty taker for BiH so he can boost his stats. As soon as he got sold from Modrica he started talking shit but till that point he was actnig like the golden boy and a captain) i still cant get over that).

I'm with Velez, i don't care who you are nut if you are detrimental to my club, team or NT then i'll tell you to fu.ck off staright out. Quality wise, there is no way he better than Vedad and/or Dzeko.

Honestly, how wuld you react if some HNS guy let his son become the captain of the 2nd most important Croatian NT?

Jelic Sr is supporting Serbia, he wants to become the "president" of RS and he used the U21 to get his son sold to a better club. Its obvious as hell that Jelic Jr will be a target. 7 goals on 15 matches maybe sounds impressive but like Bosanac mentioned, wonder how many penalty kicks he took. Vedad Ibisevic, a player who was in PSG, had a call from the US youth NT's and played for our U21 before Jelic even got into the Modrica first squad got kicked out by Zukanovic. Im not a fan of Zukanovic either but im sure that he isnt calling up players based on what religion they have.

So, he didn't deserve to play at all against Norway!

Petar really didn't deserve to play that day. His previous remarks and lack of will power to play for the nation, isn't worth it.
