Sliskovic/Pasalic quit/New Coach?

First, it is confirmed, uefa.com has the story.

http://www.uefa.com/competitions/EUR...Id=453672.html

Let's face it, he got a lot of things right. I dont know if his tactics were right, but his re-development of a roster were very good. He came in and cleaned the crap, put in some youth, got rid of the old and useless and created quiet a good group. Thank you again Baka, I do not and never doubted your passion for the country.

The big question now is, who do we hire?

I've been thinking about it a bit, and my pick is....Amar Osim.
If we could all get a dream manager it would be Ivica Osim, well, we cant get him, he is managing Japan, so why not his son. His son is intelligent and did a great job with Zeljo. Plus, I'm sure Ivica will always give him tips. So we have it all!

Overall, I believe our NT benefited from Sliskovic as a coach. I do not care what anybody says....a lot of NTs are shitting their pants when they see us in their group.

The new coach should be a foreigner. I suggest Lothar Matthäus.

former Croatia U21 manager, he managed our generation a few years ago with Da Silva, Kranjcar, Babic, Srna, Pranjic. Attack minded coach but he has really only made his name at the youth levels by leading Croatia to a FIFA youth tournament and once beating England 3:0 away at the U21 level

doubt it but I believe he is a good manager

I wouldnt mind seeing Pape as selektor. He had some good results with mediocre teams in Turkey, and he is an absolute legend so all the players would respect him immediately.

AMEN BROTHER

Thank you Baka, you do not desreve any insults, you have given us a few heart attack moments but overall have gotten us to where we are now.

Amar would be a great choice, young, vibrant an ambitious but i doubt he will leave his recently gained position and i hope to God we don't have any more job sharing managers. What do you guys think we go outside the square and appoint a foreign coach? Ivica will not come back and we need to forget about that.

Where is Halihodzic??????

Kodro did a great job as an assistent coach at Real Sociedad last year, but im not sure he's ready to take over the NT.

Vaha would be an awesome choice but he is always going between France and Quatar, and i dont think he wants to have the burden of a NT.

Im not sure about younger Osim, he did remarkably well at Zeljo but.....

Whoever we get he has a lot of work to do.

Afaik, Pape was offered the job several years ago when Hadzibegic quit. He refused. We should ask ourselves has anything changed in our FA in the meanwhile for him to accept it this time around. I doubt it. Furthermore, Pape is a whole different type of coach compared to Baka; personality-wise as well as tactically. What would happen then? Braco coming back? Rahimic, Topic and Hodzic getting called up? The truth is that with Baka resigning we got ourselves in even deeper shit than we were beforehand. The most logical option for the time being would be if Glavas took it over for the next two matches and then to bring someone new in in the winter break to clean up the mess. Cleaning would in this case mean writing a letter with a big thank you and goodbye to Bolic, Kerkez, Grlic, Music, Milenkovic and all the other by-passers we've seen in the recent months and years.

Halihodzic is now in Saudi Arabia coaching a team there (one of the better teams in Asia). I was thinking about him, but I dont think its a good idea. He has a major temper, and I have a feeling if he was in the game today, that ref might have died lol We need someone who can have a calming influence on the players.

He is tough on the players though..that can work brilliantly or horribly.

He should definetley be a candidate.

I have a feeling though that the RS soccer federation will have a say in this all. I have a feeling a Serb manager is coming.

No, I dont care either...but I mean are we going to hire the best or are we going to look at that? If a Serb happens to be the best, then great...but picking a Serb just to be fair, well, thats a different story I think. It would not be a shock in Bosnia.
