The top teams in this needless league will be Partizan, Hemofarm, Reflex, Zvezda and Buducnost (not necessarily in that order) with Olimpija and Cibona being among the top 6 likely. The rest of the teams are not worth the aforementioned teams' time.

Sibenka? Siroki? Helios? Please.

Good result by Bosna in Slovenia, 2 out of 2 so far is promising (i ain't predicting no title before anyone jumps down my throat, i'm just glad that there's possibility they might not fight it out for the wooden spoon this time)

Well if they're not worth their time, why are they participating in this league? Why don't you go and suggest they pull out and play somewhere where it's more suited for their standards and then you can live happily ever after.

Zadar :depress: I don't get this team, last season we were able to beat the likes of Cibona, Crvena Zvezda etc.. but then lose to Krka, Geoplin and teams who finished in the bottom of the league.

Dude, Partizan was blackmailed into participating. It's all because of Zvezda & Reflex, they don't like the fact that they can't compete with Partizan in Serbia, so they force their opponnents into a league where they will incur a financial loss. Zvezda was near bankrupt and it entered the league in order to cash in on the nationalistic foolishness of their fans (why do you think hardcore Delije go to these games...to watch basketball? no). Also the GY league knows it can't survive without Serbian teams, so they gave full support to Zvezda & Co.

Therefore the other teams are obviously worth their time since they are going to all that trouble to cash in on them!

Well, Zvezda yes, but Partizan is actually losing money. And I was thinking basketball-wise.

I'll go off topic for a sec, but Andrija I don't know how you can blame Zvezda for this. Our basketball association should have stopped our teams from competing the day Buducnost (yes, they were the ones that started it) started playing.

Anyway, I predict a comfortable victory for Zvezda this year. We'll beat Hemofarm in the semis and Refleks in the final.

You're not winning anything this time around rsf. You can only win leagues in which Partizan does not participate.

How is Damir Rancic (Split) doing this season, I expect him to be playing in the NBA one day.

Out of the top 4 teams, 3 are from Serbia. 'Nuff said.

p.s. As soon as Zvezda pick up their act, it'll be 4/4. With Partizan 4th of course. :dielaugh:

Well, Zvezda - Olimpija in Belgrade drew 2000 fans (and this is supposed to be a "big" match) - Pionir has about 7000 seats. In Podgorica Buducnost - Cibona drew 1500, but I don't know how big their hall is. I hear there's still the occasional fan trouble, but most of it has reduced to provocative chanting by some fans, well in Serbia at least. I think this is a poor attendance. Once the nationalist thingy wears off, the fans will judge this league by quality, and we're yet to see that...
