For a second there my heart stopped because I thought that meant he was no longer the NT manager

hmmm...I dont know how I feel about that. I'm happy for him, but at the same time it may get in the way of being the best as he can for the NT. Its difficult to do two jobs.

In a way, sadly, I just wish he quit the NT because I dont think he can do both jobs. A club takes a lot of work, you train, you need to get to know the players, you need to make selections, coach all the time, week in week out you have games...then you come to the NT in a week and its hard to put it together. And who knows maybe the players will feel he is not commited.

No doubt he is a great manager though, and he will be a huge help to Hajduk.

http://sport.hrt.hr/htvsport/ram/2004/08/blaz040824.ram

video about it, its in Croatian and btw the second goal they show is Dragan Blatnjak

his contract will expire in 2007 but knowing Croatian football one or two defeats and he will already be sacked. also maybe the Bosnian players in the club will play extra hard because he is also the NT manager. I just hope he can use some youngsters from our youth team who Katalinic never used and maybe he can turn it around.

I'm looking at other sites and everyone is absolutley pissed that he took the job with Hajduk too!

I was excited about our chances of Qualifying, but now, **** this, I dont think we will do anything either. :rollani:

Probably lose to Spain and Serbia and then the **** will quit and leave us in a hole with the future looking bleak.

Thats the problem..he will FOR SURE be more busy with Hajduk, there is so much to do. Every week there are games, so that means training every other day, he needs to think about tactics all the time, players he will use, etc. Then the week that there are internationals he has to change and start thinking about the NT, and thats just not enough.

KODRO ILI HALIHODZIC ZA SELEKTORA!

De ne provaljuj se, Kodro nije bio u stanju da trenira juniore Sosijedada...

A Baka neka se jebe, i on i Hajduk...

That should be the priority. But like manijak says, a club is day to day work and it is hard, if not impossible, for him to do both..

Very strange decision and I am suprised the BiH football federation are letting him do it. He will eventually have to choose between the two.

as Manijak said before I think is the result for the BiH NT are poor at the start of qualifiers he will resign from that job and have Hajduk as his main priority. But also, it can be the opposite, if he struggles with Hajduk he might leave too, a lot of pressure for him at both BiH NT and Hajduk to do well.

hmm that wasn't verry smart of him, his position as NT coach will be questioned after every poor result... I doubt he'll stay 'till the end of WCQ, unless we win all the games

in my mind, best solution for our NT would be Ivica Osim, maybe with Safet Susic at his side... both are avolaible right now i think ... just a thought

Kodro or Halilhodzic are not realistic right now, Meho has no experience and Vahid have said that he would love to be our NT coach - in 5-10 years. He wants to win something in europe first and i totally understand and respect that.

Osim is not available until Novemeber. Dinamo wanted him as coach aswell. The other problem is that he said he will never coach another club or country from former yug ever again.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, he is the best we have at this point..nobody else that is proven or good is available.

Like i said in the Hajduk thread i absolutly hate this idea. I respect Baka and if he wants to coach Hajduk then fine go but don't screw us like this. We are counting on making a good run in the upcoming qualifiers and we don't need a half present campaign leader who could possiby run away half way through the campaign.

I fully blame NSBiH !!! How could they allow this??? Jebem ti nas mentalitet, kod nas bi ljudi jebali sami svoju mamu za pare kad bi mogli!!! Pusi ga Jelicu!!!

The only guy I know who has done it before is Osim, when he was coaching the former Yugo NT and Partizan. But back then half of the NT was from Partizan so he was sort of keeping an eye on both at the same time.

Overall, I think Sliskovic will get more taken up by his work at Hajduk and only the BiH NT can suffer from this. But that's just my opinion. I hope I'm not wrong.
