Well as already mentioned Dajic scored for Kamen Ingrad, Dajic also picked up a yellow card in the same minute as he scored, maybe he did something crazy ...Turkovic scored for Hajduk Split while Blatnjak also started, Mesic did not play.
Skoro scored for GAK in their friendly match against Arsenal, Arsenal would win 2-1.

Bolic scored as well for Genclerbirligi they played Sturm Graz in a friendly. (in a 4-0 win). He has been doing really well so far I hear.

Barbarez was involved in the Intertoto Cup today..they won 3-1, and he made a great assist on the first goal...he however left after 20 minutes because of an injury...no idea what it is, hopefully nothing too serious.

Ibisevic played today for PSG in a friendly against Juventus. He started the game and from what I hear played pretty well, he made some beautiful moves and set some things up. PSG lost 1-0. I would think Vaha will make the decision soon if he will sign him.

Vedad Ibisevic

Beslija started today and played the whole game for Genk in the Intertoto Cup. Genk stunned Dortmund, winning 2-1. Dortmund are out.

News for July 28th

In the Champions League Qualifying, our national team representative, Dragan Blatnjak scored 2 goals, to help Hajduk beat Shelbourne from Ireland by a score of 3-2.

In the Intertoto Cup, Mirsad Besljia played the whole game for Genk, as they drew 0-0 with Uniao Leiria.

Sergej Barbarez has a minor injury and did not travel to Spain to play Villarreal.

Hasan Salihamidzic played 79 minutes as Bayern won 3-0 in the semi-final for the German Cup.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have no idea who our strikers will be when the Qualifying begins, right now, Bolic, Misimovic, Blatnjak and Skoro are all in great form, and Ibisevic may get a chance against France, and seems to be the real deal. Should be interesting.

Vedad Ibisevic is on the list of players that will face Lyon in the French Super Cup game which takes place tomorrow. (17 players on the list) He is eligible to play even though he doesn't have a "pro contract", he has something like a "trainee contract" and I would guess he comes off the bench in the game. Hopefully he once again comes in and impresses. And if he does, maybe that will be enough to seal a professional contract with PSG.

http://psg.fr/fr/news/show.php?id=5637

Edit: There is word he could very well start the game, playing along Ljuboja.

Sorry for being late but Dragan Blatnjak scored two goals in Hajduk's 3-2 win over Shelbourne in the CL qualifiers. Turkovic struggled and Mesic didn't do much off the bench.

Yes, No, Maybe
I don't know
Can you repeat the question?

Well, he just impressed me because he needed hardly any time to accomodate. He scored from the beginning in the test games and showed decent performances in the first two league games, although he missed some chances. So it was just the perfect moment for his first goal today.

Yes, No, Maybe
I don't know
Can you repeat the question?

Skoro is on form and i think he needs to be given a starting line up spot for the NT to try and prove himself in the 'holy' jersey.
Manijace--- could you please explain the details of a trainee contract?

I dont know if thats the name, but it be something like a trial contract. (if not the same) Something short term (1/2 months) and the manager has the power at any time to terminate it.

Baljic today against Porto looked pretty good. Galatasaray won 2-1....he started the game and played till about 65 minutes. His passing and crossing are first class. Today, he kept the game pretty simple which I thought was smart. He didn't press the situation if it didn't present itself.

I think he still needs to work on getting more fit..he looks in pretty good shape, but likley not quiet fit yet.

A whole 65 mins? Shit things must be going for the better, he would have only dreamt of a stint that long in a Gala jersey last season.

Igor Musa looks like he will sign for Slaven Belupo! He has been playing in the Spanish second division for a while but was un heard of when he left Hajduk.

Konjic is still injured. He has missed most of the training and pre-season, and it seems he could miss at least 2 more weeks (possibly missing the 2 opening games of the new season). So he might miss the France friendly.

It just may be time to give some younger guys a shot, a lot of names dont come to mind, but Crnogorac is one, he was called in the last friendly against Finland and he came in for the last 10 minutes for Konjic, so he looks like the likley replacement.

And, anybody know what is going on Music? I know the Italian season doesn't get going for abit more, so that is why he may still not have a new club..of course Modena got relegated, so he is looking for a new club, he wants to stay in Italy because of his family.
