thats very very untrue. macedonian football fans simply lost interest in the nt due to poor results, not bcoz of who is/isnt playin for the nt. albanians have always been part of the nt and there was never any kind of boycott bcoz of that. I dunno who has been tellin u this stories, but believe me they r simply not true.

They have had quite good results looking at the AFCON results although they had a lot of dodgy calls go their way

Even with their Spanish recruits (on paper) they are a side we should beat

When a new coach comes in, the more games the better so it's a good opportunity to let him test a few things out before the Slovakia qualifier

Liechtenstein may prove too strong, they've improved quite a bit in recent years.

Without a doubt Spain and Italy will go through and whoever drops more points away against Albania, Israel and Macedonia will have to fight in the playoffs.

Regarding Macedonia, what was the reaction to the draw? You guys donīt believe you could reach more than a 5th place?

The first match will be Albania-Macedonia. Nice way to start an exciting group.

The reaction has been very negative and rightly so

Firstly, as you mentioned - Spain and Italy are untouchables for us

Secondly, at the moment Albania and Israel are miles ahead of us and are considerably better teams

We would probably struggle to get 6 points vs Liechtenstein if we played the games tomorrow/at this time

A lot can change in 12+ months of football and tbh we need a lot to change in that period for us to think of taking points away from Albania and Israel

Tbh i'm not too thrilled about us drawing each other in qualifying considering what happened in Serbia last year

I know we have already played each other in countless friendlies but there are always idiots on both sides who want to create tension or whatever you want to call it

I've always wanted to play you guys in qualifications, both games should be awesome. Also, don't worry our fans are much more civilized than the animals you saw in Belgrade and have had no incidences on the field besides kissing a few of our players during the Italy friendly lol. You can expect some intimidation but nothing will go down in Tirana or Shkup.

I think there will be no incidents in first match but second match will be extremely difficult to manage for macedonian authorities. I have impression that UEFA won't allow away fans but that won't make big difference because Komiti, Ballistet and Shvercerat will be on stadium for sure. I hope also political situation in Macedonia will be more relaxed until then and we will be able to watch a good football match. Most difficult situation will be for albanians who play for Macedonia, they will be between fires.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Well Israel is also on type of reflection and transition period. We are still in contention for a spot at Euro 2016 but generally speaking there many things to improve and the feeling is that we are not on the right track.

First game will go smoothly, but the Albanians on Macednia will get lot of heat.

Something will happen in Macedonia home game though. Since many Albanians will be there, even if there's a no away fan rule since most have a Macdonian passport/citizenship.

Exactly

That's why i'm not too thrilled about these games. They won't have anything to do with football - let's be honest here

If UEFA weren't a money driven association that lived off fines and actually had a half decent conscious they would at least play both games behind closed doors or even better, play both games at a neutral venue with no supporters. That's if you want these games to be about the football...

Can anyone tell me anything about former Macedonia NT coach Dragi Kanatlarovski? He is a strong candidate for the Velez coaching position.

Drulovic has left the NT to go an join Partizan

He didn't improve the NT at all in his short time. Can't say it's a big loss

Ademi failed the B-test as well, next week UEFA will determine the punishment, he faces up to 4 years ban, though I doubt it will be that drastic

Well he deserves whatever he gets but it is strange that UEFA haven't found more players over the years

This situation says a lot about his character too
