How to improve Macedonian Football

I would like in this thread to post your ideas about what we must do if we would like to improve our championship and moreover to have better luck in european cups.

I think that some realistic aims are:

1.Improve the budgets of the teams by bringing sponsors.

2.Create an account which will give money to teams according to the ranking in the end of the championship.

3.Bring to Prva Liga great players.

4.Cheaper tickets for some specials part of the population like teenagers, students etc.

5.Stadiums full with fans and not anymore empty stadiums.

6.Stop the violence.

7.Renovation of the stadiums according to Uefa's standards.

8.Bring Macedonia at Top-20 the next 5 years in uefa's special rankings.

Good ideas but we need money for almost all these things to improve, the first thing that needs to be improved is to improve the budgets and we start there with bringing in stable sponsors not something like Meridian who came to Cementarnica last year and then left a year later same with Bregalnica and Kraun. But the sad truth is no one wants to invest in our football and i come to that conclusion after a team like Pelister who had the 2nd best attendance average plus a great youth system, yet Toni and Mitko still can not find a stable sponsor and they have connections in Germany etc...

First thing that has to be done:

Every club pays let's say 20.000euros for participating in the league. With 12 clubs that's 240.000euros. After the end of the season the winner gets 100.000, 2nd placed 50.000, 3rd placed 20.000 4th placed 10.000... That's how the clubs will be more motivated

Another important thing is to find one major sponsor of the league. Let's say "Skopsko Pivo". The league's name would be "Prva Skopsko Pivo Liga" The sponsor should pay at least 200.000euros to FFM. Those money would be enough for covering the expences for the referees and delegates, money that every club pays to the officials before the match. This is not big money for some big company, but it is problem for some of the clubs

I agree with you but I think that football teams don't have good marketing.Modern football needs money. The most clubs in Europe works like companies, something which doesn't happen in Prva Liga.

Has any team sell to any tv station their games for uefa and cl cups?I don't think so.

Has any team created an official boutique with products for it's fans? Not only football products like souvenirs and t-shirt but many others like prepaid mobile phones, insurance for cars etc which brings additional income to a team.Check Aris Solun team and how their marketing sector works..

Has any team asked from serious foreign companies to invest in football?I mean companies like Lukoil,Cosmofon etc.Greek team Panathinaikos receive from Cosmote 300.000 euros for the advertisement in their shirts! Is any team here to ask from Cosmofon an amount of 30.000 euros for advertisement? No!Moreover there are many banks which belongs to foreigners. An advertisement would give them more customers.

What about cheaper tickets? Is there any offer for special teams of population?Any competitions and winning prizes during the game?Empoli team gives a Piaggio motorbike in every game during the half time.Empoli has more than 10.000 fans in every game. What about us?

According to me,we must improve the quality of the teams and not find a solution about how to finance FFM.

I think that there are sponsors..i mean serious one.The point is that somebody must persuade them that the next championship will be something completely different and much more improved.

I see no problem with this and i have no idea why it hasn't been done already??? Serbia has this with Meridian, Slovenia with Telekom and Croatia with T-Com. Also i'm not exactly sure but i think our mens handball league also has a sponsor like this and for sure the basketball league with Cosmofon.

Basically until we continue to have criminals in our FA and we keep having scandals like we been having things like this will continue to happen and no one will invest a penny into our football. Main thing for an investor to take over a club is stability in the league and right now we we don't have that.

The only way to realy improve the domestic soccer is to work clean and fair and drow foreign sponsors to the liga clubbs, its all about money since more money the better players will stay or sign and standard atomatic will gett better.

Look at Cyprus liga as exampel, they did go from a poor league to an very nice liga in very short time, i would say 2-3 years and only cos many started to invest in many cypriots clubbs, just look at the Omania and Apoel web pages. Since many sponsors come to Cyprus much bigger budget in clubbd and better foreigners did sign.

Cyprus is an good exampel..

The ticket price is not problem. Those who want to go to a match will pay for the ticket. But the problem is how to make someone go to the stadium to watch Vardar-Bashkimi when at the same time on TV there's Man Utd-Liverpool

since football attendancy is so low, i dont think they even charge for tickets, and if they do, it's probably 20 denars or something :P

The only chance to shake up the league is to create a break away league! Get educated people involved and no former players. These same people are those the were getting 1's in school. Giving them the right to control the league is useless. One solution, to stop match fixing, create a Super League of sorts 8 teams, no relegation. Place a mandatory budget, of 200 000, if you can reach this budget then you cannot be in the league. If needed teams will need to merge.

Also, Similar to what Rabotnicki have done, sign some deals with bigger teams. At least if a young players is sold the team will get some money in return!!!

Talking economics in Macedonian football is useless, since there is no stability. Even in Bill Gates invests, there will be a Macedonian there that will milk him dry of his money!

Cyprus and Macedonia cannot be compared since were not a member of the Commonwealth such as Cyprus, in actual reality Cyprus is controlled by the English!! Secondly unlike Cyprus, we don't have billion dollar companies and banks such as Bank of Cyprus, Laiki Bank and so forth, which get their support from England!

It's not true. There are big companies in Macedonia but I think that nobody made an effort to approach them. What about the Macedonian banks? They have million of denars as profit.Teams could have an advertisement and moreover create program for fans like bank accounts etc.

In same time when on TV is Man Utd-Liverpool, there is also matches in other domestic leagues, like Armenian, Albanian, but there attendence is for 10 times higher compare to Vardar-Baskimi. In Macedonia there is no law, i mean we got law but everybody are brakin' that law. For example, on cable TV's in MKD now they don't broadcast HRT 2,3, OBN, NOVA.. why, coz our TV station act against them becouse they lose VERY BIG audience.
I don't know why macedonian clubs don't act on same way, i mean here we got law, and that is "during the matches from 1st and 2nd leauges, tv stations CAN'T broadcast matches from other leagues, 1 hour before and 1 hour after the matches. MTV is going to pay 750000 euros for next season matches from FA premiership to broacast on their chanel. Why they don't broadcast matcehs from our league, or why they don't gave money for boradcasting matches of our NT.
Last season for commercial on A1 cost 40 euros per 1 second., so now you can figure how money they make, plus not to forget money the big ones Prilepska Pivara and T-Mobile.
Our league for our conditions is excellent, but our way of thinking is really bad, from TV stations, to the audience, and finally clubs.
