When will Macedonia play Greece?

Ok this has been bothering me for a while now, notice how Macedonia NT has been playing under FIFA for 14 years now and yet we havent played even one friendly game with our southern neighbour Greece. Yeah i know people will say its coz of the "name issue dispute" but honestly, i dont think this name issue can be much of a problem for a simple soccer game, can it??

Id really like to see MK play GR, i believe that on paper we are even teams, they might have a better midfield but we have a better defense.. cant wait to play them one day.

I hope that we are not going to play with them, there is to much nationalism on stadiums.

Why open a thread like this you know it wont be long before some one sparks some political debate. To answer your question I don't think we will play anytime soon and like FORCA_SHQIPERIA said there is some chance we will get drawn into the same group...

I would love a Greek-Macedonia meet up, i dont think we would lose an games VS Greece.. As a matter of fact i think Macedonia are a bit stronger then Greece today.. This is one of the games where the players will be 1000% focused and will run for 200 min if needed, this is one of the reasons why we will not lose VS Greece in a soccer game today...

Greek are poorer today then 2004, we are stronger have younger and better players then 2004... I would say on paper 45/55 Macedonia today... I think Greece will drow on Gratski and Macedonia wil win in Athen -)

The only Greek-Macedonian meet up so far have been in Tennis and Handball (bothe girls and man) and we won in everything who have been playd so far against them-)

They where to scared to play us in Futsal just a monthe ago, they would have lost for sure, they did not show up in Veles...

They would beat us in Vollyball and Basketball, An Basketball game today will be much harder then 4-5 years ago but still they are among the best 3 teams in the world, thats a fact..

Politics, provoke and propaganda:

It will be tones of them and most likely fights as well but who cares as long we win -)))

PS!, yes the topic indeed is risky -))))

The answer to your question: Greeks are to scard to lose now days..

Yes and its a worthless topic because theres nothing to discuss since we arent fortune tellers or work for FIFA p

Great_Macedonian if you really want an answer to your question your better off seeing a fortune teller and while your at it ask him/her when will Macedonia qualify

I know it would be exiting for Macedonians and Greeks, but such a match should be rather played as match for points, in WC or Euro qualifications. Game against Greece is something more than a usuall game, so it shouldn't be played as a friendly cos friendly game should be a match to test new players to the NT, not a must-win game.

Cementarnica in Vtora Liga 2009/2010
Cementarnica - Miravci 2:0 (Kostadinovski 40'-pen. Naumcevski 43')
Belasica - Cementarnica 1:2 (Markov 24' - Donev 9'-og Trajkovski 47')
Cementarnica - 11 Oktomvri 2:1 (Jakovlevski 15' 77' - Kostadinovski 26'-og)
Cementarnica - Belasica 4:1 (Braga 23' 38' Ristovski 43' Kostadinovski 63' - Jurcevski 88')

Nothing might happen anyways just look at when Vardar played that Greek team in handball or when Pelister played Kilkis in the challenge cup yes there was some hateful chants and stuff but nothing got out of hand cause there was no away supporters and the security was tight. The only way there would be big trouble is if a club team like Olympiakos played Vardar and there was away supporters at each game.

They have plenty of fun in Australia.

At least PAOK payd for the buss but 0nly cos IHF forced them, they also gott a separate fine..

You have it in FC Vardar topic in the arkive that newspapers reported..... To say nothing happened is not the true..

At least we won -)))) as alöl the time when we playd a greek NT or greeks team so far in any sport we playd them so far...

All this for a handball games, just imagen what will it be in a soccer game lol

God this is tedious. Don't you guys have anything better to do that create topics about how much you really, really hope you play Greece?

The complexes must be really bothersome, eh?

Alex-10 no need to cry about this thread, if you dont like the topic and think its useless then dont post in it... how often do i open a thread up anyways?? actually this is only the second thread ive opened after the one on Sasko Pandev, a thread which some of you also had a cry about saying he isnt that good to "deserve a thread dedicated to him"... thats the problem with most of you, you always discuss the same players and avoid less popular or controversial topics. I only open a topic which has not been discussed, atleast not since ive been a member on this forum. I do not need no fortune teller to tell me if MK can beat GR, that was not the point of the thread.. the point was to see what others think regarding why we havent played them yet and who thinks we will play them and if and when we do play them what could the outcome be both politically and on the field... im making conversation and if some of you dont like the topic dont read it and keep discussing the same shit... i like to discuss the un-discussed.

This is good thread, unless it goes off topic.

I know that is not what you wanted to hear, but yes, that is it. Although, there are friendly matches played betwen clubs, arent there?

But since this would be "friendly", and we cant have friendly with southern neigbour, i think its better to play other teams, and wait untill we are drawn together in one group. And beside its absurd to play friendly with someone that doesnt recognize us .....
