Gazza was a lovely clown with very-very big heart (I was lucky to see him live to play for England in 1996) Get well, greetings from Hungary!:smileani:

so the British media keeps feeding on the tragedy of a mentally ill celebrity...who would have guessed? :rollani:

I have a hard time feeling sorry for people like Gazza. Obviously I don't know the guy which makes it easier to be so cold about things, but he's ****ed his own life up basically and now he's paying the consequences.

This is what happens if you are an individual with the world at your feet but possess not one ounce of self respect or self control.

He is beyond saving now and I expect will be dead before he is 50.

What a waste of life.

I thought he was ready to die about 5 years ago when he re-invented himself as G-8. God knows what he does with his time.

He's Gazza. It's like with George, he never has to buy a drink.

By the way, last three posters above me are cunts.

Without it gravity is just gravy.

Sadly for his legacy he's way beyond the mythical "live strong, die young", so he'll fall into the dishonorable category "live strong, die as a middle age, laughable asshole".

not just lacking self respect or self control or daft or alcoholic...he's mentally ill and always has been. I feel sorry for him because he has never been in control of his life and it is very unlikely he ever could be.

Well yeah, he is definitely mentally ill now.

He's just been successful in completely the wrong environment. Probably surrounded by some absolute low life scum from a very young age.

Is Jimmy Five Bellies still alive?

One of my favourite Gazza stories: bought a Ł1000 robot and programmed it to travel into Jimmy Five Bellies' room at Gazza Towers and announce "make a cup of tea, fat man."
