Brought up to date, not bothering with doing the championship transfers in their entirety this year, but will list noteable deals.

- Naby Keita is joining Liverpool for 55m, which was agreed last summer, he should add some bite and drive to their midfield.

- Per Mertesacker has retired, joining Arsenal's coaching staff. Solid defender, but the last few seasons have been heavily blighted by injury.

- Yaya Toure has been released by City, he's surely one of the greatest players in the history of their club and one of the best box to box midfielders to have graced the premier league. Rumours are he might join a smaller club like Huddersfield, personally I think that his legs aren't there anymore in terms of being a box to box player, but maybe he'll reinvent himself as a deep lying playmaker or something.

- Burnley have released Scott Arfield and Dean Marney, both good club servants, Arfield is expected to join Rangers.

-Some French sources are saying Liverpool have agreed to buy Nabil Fekir from Lyon, but I'm not sure how credible they are.

Robert Huth has been released by Leicester, sad to see a member of the title winning team leave, but he hasn't played all season due to injury anyway.

- Michael Carrick has retired, great player for United over the years, but hadn't played much this season.

- Dean Whitehead has also retired if anyone cares.

- Ki has left Swansea at the end of his contract, would be a good signing for a few sides.

- Pablo Maffeo leaves Man City permanently for Stuttgart, but City have a buy-back clause.

In terms of what will happen with this seasons loanees imo.

- I don't think Brighton will bother to keep Ulloa, he hasn't done much and I think he'll drop to the championship or go abroad for next season.

- N'Koudou hasn't really excelled at Burnley, I doubt they would buy him but they might consider taking him for another season to see if he improves.

- Grujic is the main one I think Cardiff will try and keep, I don't think Liverpool will let him go permanently, but I think they'll sanction another loan.

- Loftus-Cheek will have a role in the Chelsea first team picture next season, so I think Palace are out of luck with him.

- Fosu-Mensah they might have a chance of keeping though, I don't think he's ready for United's first team just yet.

- Mangala I don't think Everton will bother trying to keep hold of, he'll probably end up on another loan somewhere else.

- Huddersfield will try and keep Lossl and Hadergjonaj (I think they have clauses on both) and probably also Kongolo, which depends on Monaco as they have no clause on him.

- Dragovic I'm not sure about, he's done okay for Leicester but he isn't first choice, so maybe if Leverkusen lower the fee a bit.

- Dubravka I think Newcastle will definitely keep. He's an absolute bargain for what their option is. Kenedy will be a lot harder, but I would think they'll at least try to keep him as he's done very well. Slimani they won't bother with.

- Watford will try and keep Deulofeu and Karnezis and I think they have a good chance in both cases. I believe they will let Wague and Carrillo return to their parent clubs.

- West Ham I think will want to keep Joao Mario, but will want to negotiate a lower fee. Joe Hart I don't see them keeping.

- Wolves will very likely do permanent deals for Jota, Afobe and Boly. Bonatini, N'Diaye and Vinagre are all possible, but 50/50 imo.

Ki is a pretty underrated player imo. He's not spectacular, but he has very good technique and passing range. He'd do pretty well in Italy.

A lot of City fans were excited by Maffeo and thought he had the potential to become a first team player, but I'm guessing if Stuttgart were the biggest club in for him we're hardly losing out. Plus if it goes well we can re-sign him.

Ricardo Pereira - Porto > Leicester 20m

Leicester make the first big splash of the window, signing Ricardo Pereira from Porto for 20m. He established his reputation on loan at Nice under Puel and then apparently was excellent for Porto. Most Porto fans seem to be furious they didn't get more for him, so at the very least he should be an enormous upgrade on Danny Simpson.

Santi Cazorla has been released by Arsenal. Probably expected as he's only played one game in the last 18 months due to injury, so it would have been a big risk for them to offer him a new deal. One of my favourite players of recent seasons and sad to see him go, though.

- Should be a couple of managerial appointments tied up in the next couple of days as it seems more or less confirmed that Manuel Pellegrini will be managing West Ham and Unai Emery will be coaching Arsenal.

Manuel Pellegrini confirmed as the new manager of West Ham. Massive upgrade on Moyes and I'm really interested to see what kind of players he is able to attract. With the likes of him and Benitez, there's some good coaches in mid-table now.

Leon Balogun - Mainz > Brighton - Free

Leon Balogun signs for Brighton on a free from Mainz. He's a Nigerian international centre back and apparently replacing Uwe Hunemier. He'll be a depth player, he won't displace Duffy or Dunk I don't imagine.

Unai Emery officially takes over at Arsenal, gonna be really weird to see someone other than Wenger coaching them.

Ben Wilmot - Stevenage > Watford - 1.5m

Watford have signed promising young defender Ben Wilmot from Stevenage for 1.5m

New 5 year deal for Poch at Spurs, absolutely massive for them.

In rumours

- Fred is very close to signing for Man Utd from Shakhtar

- Arsenal are negotiating with Nice for Seri.

- Rooney is in America to complete a move to DC United.

Florin Andone - Deportivo > Brighton - 5.3m

For some reason they've done a bad photoshop, but Florin Andone has joined Brighton from Deportivo for his 5.3m release clause, which is good for Brighton as they apparently bid 15m for him in January.
