Today is champion leagues semi-final! Such a serious defending match. Every punter is in stress. Though I prefer Monaco but always loves to take aid from skilled soccer tipsters.

Craig Gardner (To Birmingham)

Country : England
Age : 30
Position : Central Midfield
Signed From : West Bromwich Albion
Price (Approx) : £2,000,000 (Permanent From Loan)
16/17 Whoscored Rating : 6.58

A pretty solid start to the summer for Birmingham, if he gets regular football under his belt and a good pre-season behind him then he should be a good player at championship level

I guess I'll just say it. It is so good to see Chelsea on top of England. They deserved it. Next step is the FA Cup final and we're looking at a very successful season indeed. Then the Champions League next season. Things are looking up for Conte, he is a genius, anyone sees that.

Without Jesus, a hopeless end. With him, an endless hope.

- Man City have announced that Pablo Zabaleta will be leaving the club at the end of the season. Will go down as a legend at the club and a key component in their recent success. There are a lot of rumours saying he will go to West Ham.

- Everton have given out a couple of new contracts. A new 5 year one for probably the best right back in the premiership on average over the past few seasons, Seamus Coleman and a 3 year one for inconsistent but really good on his day winger, Kevin Mirallas.

Sky are reporting that Saed Kolasinac will sign a 5 year deal with Arsenal once his contract expires at Schalke. There's no official word from either club yet, but the way Sky are reporting it sounds like it's done, the only transfer I can remember not going through when they reported it in this way is Benatia to Man U before he went to Bayern.

One would imagine that either Monreal or Gibbs will be free to leave. He seems to me like he could play an Azpilicueta style position if they decide to go three at the back too.

Not at all satisfied with that move if it's true, though according to Bosnian sources it's a done deal (usually not so reliable, though). Allegedly one of the reasons he decided to come to Arsenal is because of Wenger () which must mean that Wenger will be staying on as the boss of the Gunners next season as well.

At Schalke he alternates between a LWB in a 3-5-2 and an LB in a 4-2-3-1, and given that Monreal has been moving slowly towards playing as an LCB in a 3 at the back system, Kolasinac could play as an LWB. Wenger seems to be transitioning into a 3-4-3 in the past few weeks.

Why are you not satisfied with the move? Arsenal are a bigger club than Schalke, do you think he's good enough for the tier one clubs?

Yes, I do personally think that he's good enough to be playing at the very least for a Champions League side (better than losing 10-2 to Bayern, at least). I'm surprised that Manchester City haven't been more active in signing him up given that the LB position is currently one of the weakest on their team and I can't think of a better Bosman LB on the market than Kolasinac. I don't consider this much of a step up for him if he will be playing in the Europa League. Arsenal this season look sub-par and Sanchez will probably be leaving the club.

BTW, do you think the Jak will move to a Premier League club this window? I've seen him linked with a few such as Palace though he seems to be enjoying it at Hull.

Tbf this is the first time Arsenal have finished outside of the CL places in about 100 years. If Alexis does go (I'm not sure he will), then they'll replace him with someone expensive.

I'm sure he would be an upgrade on the current LB options at City, but they don't exactly need to worry about signing players on a Bosman.

I doubt the Jak leaves, he's been here a long time now and seems pretty happy and has only just become the number one choice. If he got a move back to the Prem, it'd likely mean him going back to being a bench player.

Nathan Thomas (To Sheffield United)

Counry : England
Age : 22
Position : Winger
Signed From : Hartlepool United
Price (Approx) : £300,000
16/17 Whoscored Rating : N/A

This guy is stepping up two divisions to try and impress in the Championship. He looks like a direct and pacy winger with an eye for goal. His highlights videos remind me of Matt Jarvis, if he turns out as good as him then it's a bargain at £300 grand.

Any ideas on the likely candidates, I've heard Alex Sandro and Grimaldo linked for LB and Kyle Walker and Nelson Semedo linked for RB.

I still struggle to see why Alex Sandro (shit name) would leave Juve for us. No chance of Walker, Spurs are better than us, moving to a new ground and situated in London. We don't offer much to Walker, who I detest. We actually need 2 full backs each side and wouldn't mind us making a go for Cresswell if he's happy being back up to someone

We have been linked with quite a few LB and RB's.

LB: Bertrand, Gaya, Sandro, Grimaldo, Alba, Mendy
RB: Walker, Semedo, Cedric, Bellerin, Mukiele,Sidibé , Alves, Fabinho

Likely that, Zaba/Sagna/Clichy/ and possibly Kolarov all leave with 3 of them having expiring contracts. Navas is apparently getting a new contract to stay and play RB. We also have Angelino and MAffeo returning from loans. So we shall see what Pep wants to do. plenty of options.

Angelino will never make it. Still hold hope for Maffeo.
