Sandro at Antalyaspor, Eto'os club. Like Palacios, another former Spurs hardman / limited footballer who pretty much disappeared after being sidelined at Spurs. Wanyama fortunately seems to have some more footballing skills, as shown in the game against Chelsea, so he hopefully won't follow down that path in 2 or 3 years time.

edit: Sandro is only 27. Thought he was older.

Wanyama is miles better than either Palacios or Sandro were imo.

Yeah, had to laugh at the size of his chest though when I saw him at a Feyenoord-Southampton friendly game. It was Alastair Overeemlike.

Still, good to see that he can do more than just tackle and make fouls.

Man U and Everton have agreed a £22m fee for Schneiderlin, which I think is a superb signing for them.

McCarthy and Schneiderlin. Steady midfield. Improvement on Gueye.

They just need one extra wide player with Bolasie out for so long. Mirallas is good, while Lennon and Deulofeu are good squad players to have.

McCarthy won't be a starter, he'll probably be sold this window, Koeman doesn't seem to like him.

Random rumours today.

- Everton supposedly bid £14.5m for Kessie of Atalanta, which was rejected.

- Bournemouth are apparently negotiating for Pedro Pereira of Sampdoria.

- Bournemouth also allegedly moving for John Terry on a half season loan.

- Middlesbrough and West Ham are supposedly interested in Jese from PSG.

- Southampton reportedly pushing for Mahamadou Sakho.

- Villa and Palace both supposed to have put bids in for Jeffrey Schlupp.

West Brom have loaned Craig Gardner to Birmingham, he hadn't been playing much this season.

Koscielny, Coquelin and Giroud have all signed extended deals with Arsenal. Koscielny in particular is massively important for them.

Bilic has said that Payet doesn't want to play for West Ham but that they still won't sell him.

Man Utd have activated a clause and extended Fellaini's contract for another year.

Manolo Gabbiadini is an excellent forward. If West Brom get him they will hardly be disappointed.

Luciano Narsingh (To Swansea)

Country : Holland
Age : 26
Position : Winger
Signed From : PSV Eindhoven
Price (Approx) : £4,500,000
16/17 Who Scored Rating : 6.83

By all accounts he could well be another pacey option with no end product option for Swansea, but he might be better than that.

I personally am disappointed he's not Marco Gabbiadini.

Payet on strike at West Ham. I though he'd been on strike all season.

Also it was sad to see Graham Taylor died today. A proper football man, seemed like a great bloke.

Morgan Schneiderlin (To Everton)

Country : France
Age : 27
Position : Central Midfield
Signed From : Manchester United
Price (Approx) : £20,000,000
16/17 Who Scored Rating : 6.04

Now this is a good signing. Schneiderlin would have improved just about any team in the premier league imo. Also had his best season under Koeman.

Tom Cleverley (To Watford)

Country : England
Age : 27
Position : Central Midfield
Signed From : Everton
Signed On Loan
16/17 Who Scored Rating : 6.26

I think this makes sense on a lot of levels. Watford needed a midfielder to replace Pereyra who's out for the rest of the season, they also have issues meeting the home grown quota, which Cleverley will help with. He's also a decent player who's better than most of their current HG contingent.

We have signed Niasse on loan from Everton and Evandro from Porto. Niasse should have a point to prove and Evandro is well known to Silva as he used to have him at a previous club.

Jeffrey Schlupp (To Crystal Palace)

Country : Ghana
Age : 24
Position : Full Back/Winger
Signed From : Leicester City
Price (Approx) : £12,000,000
16/17 Who Scored : 6.24

I like Schlupp, he can be a bit of a headless chicken sometimes but he has good power and blistering pace.
