Falcao has confirmed that he will be going back to Monaco for next season as Chelsea don't want to keep him, which has been obvious for some time.

And it's not premiership, but lets chuck some championship stuff in the thread anyway. Lex Immers has signed for Cardiff permanently having been on loan for the second half of the season and doing quite well.

Poch signs an extension with Spurs till 2021. I would expect several players to follow suit. Very important to them.

LFC target Dembele is off to Dortmund, not sure how this affects Gotze if at all

But a blow to LFC they desperately need some pace out wide, German papers were reporting that Klopp wanted Dembele along with Gotze apparently didn't know how he was gonna fit them all but it's what he wants

I really don't believe papers at all without a direct quote at this point, they're almost always completely wrong. They linked Sanches to everyone but Bayern.

The premiership will be a lot more interesting if he gets to play there

Any other candidates other the usual Curbs and longball O'Neill?

Pellegrini seems to be the other main candidate.

Southampton have agreed new 5 year contracts for Fraser Forster and Virgil Van Dijk and a new 6 year deal for James Ward-Prowse.

If they can tie Mane and Wanyama down to similar deals they'll be laughing.

This is great news for Southampton. After being pillaged by the likes of Liverpool they can hopefully enjoy some continuity with their squad, by retaining important players and hopefully making some astute signings.

I'd be surprised if Mane stayed. For a long while now he was touted to leave. I think if Saints get a good offer for Wanyama they should sell. I don't think it would be too difficult to find an upgrade over him. Important that the club signs a couple of quality forwards to (potentially) replace Mane and Pelle. Again, Pelle is someone that can easily be upgraded on with some smart moves in the transfer window.

Added Jordan Rossiter, who has moved to Rangers from Liverpool for £250,000.

Also added Tomas Rosicky to the release list at Arsenal after he was tweeted a goodbye message by Wilshere. Great player, but never managed to stay consistently fit for a prolonged period.

Jack Sullivan says West Ham will announce a player today, which I'm guessing is Nordveidt.

It was indeed Nordveit, who will sign on a free as he's out of contract. He should be a good utility player for them as he can play a number of different positions and I think he'd qualify as home grown from his time at Arsenal if they ever have any issues with that, 5 year deal.

Victor Anichebe released by West Brom, he was a really poor signing for them.

Championship player in reality or someone for Celtic/Rangers if he wants European football.

Him and Carlton Cole, what a dream strikeforce.

Mikel Arteta is retiring, now that guy had an awesome premiership career. Crazy how he never got a single cap for Spain, although they obviously had some decent midfielders.

Liverpool supposedly agreed deals for Zielinski and Karius. Never seen Zielinski play but Karius looks like a very promising goalkeeper, got to be better than Mignolet anyway.

I remember you saying he was better than Alonso.

Yeah, that was an incorrect opinion overall. Though during Alonso's off seasons at Liverpool he might have been better for a season or something.

There must have been players capped by Spain in midfield that he was better than though, he was awesome at Everton.

I don't know who Zielinski is.

Karius seems to be in a similar position to Mignolet when he joined you tbh. Though he might qualify as HG again as he used to be in the Man City youth system.

I would have looked at Handanovic or Butland personally.
