Just getting the groundwork out of the way early!

But yes, I quite possibly prefer transfers to actual football, which is really sad.

Hate to state the bleeding obvious, but 3 of them teams won't be premiership clubs anymore come May

Ditch Leicester, Burnley and Villa, replace with Derby, Boro and Bournemouth.

Yeah, I always have that issue anyway though, there's usually loads of deals that have gone through before the playoff final, especially regarding released players.

These are the players that will apparently figure in the bullshit gossip columns.

Paul Pogba - Linked with Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal. Real Madrid or PSG seem more likely to me, if he leaves Juve at all. 2/5

Robert Lewandowski - Linked with Man Utd, seems very tenuous, apparently doesn't like the style of play at Bayern, though he is playing every week. Can't see it happening. 2/5

Kevin De Bruyne - Linked with Man City and Man Utd, I don't think he'd come back to England quite yet, he's only just left really. 2/5

Daniel Alves - Linked with Man Utd and Arsenal. Juve or PSG seem in the best position for him, I think he will leave Barca, but not for England.

Gareth Bale - Linked with Man Utd in a deal which is not happening. 1/5

Karim Benzema - Linked with Liverpool in a deal which is also not happening. 1/5

Edinson Cavani - Linked with Man Utd and Arsenal. I actually see this one as a possibility. He seems bored in France and if wages etc are matched, then I think a crack at England would appeal. 3/5

Arturo Vidal - Linked with Man Utd. Juve seem more likely to let Pogba go than Vidal at this point. 2/5

Marco Reus - Linked with Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City. Just signed a new contract and would be more likely to go to Real, Barca or Bayern anyway. 1/5

Mats Hummels - Linked with Man Utd, gets linked every transfer window, despite repeatedly saying he wants to stay at Dortmund. 2/5

Ilkay Gundogan - Linked with Arsenal and Man Utd, seems likely to sign a new deal at the moment. 2/5

Kevin Strootman - Linked with Man Utd - I can see this one as a maybe. I certainly think LVG would be interested and Roma may be open to selling, recovery from injury is a question mark. 3/5

Memphis Depay - Linked with Man Utd, Man City and Spurs - This one is again a possibility. He's the right age to make the move to England, PSV have already admitted he will leave and Dutch players do well here. 3/5

Yevhen Konyaplyanka - Linked with Liverpool, Spurs, Everton and West Ham - I think this guy has his heart set on England, he's out of contract too. So I think it's likely he will be lining up in the premiership next season. 4/5

Raphael Varane - Linked with Man Utd and Chelsea - I really don't think Madrid will be letting this guy go. 1/5

Pedro - Linked with Liverpool and Arsenal - I could see this happening if the transfer embargo wasn't in place, as it is I think Barca will need him around. 2/5

William Carvalho - Linked with Man Utd and Arsenal - Another player who I think wants to move to England and is at the right age to make the move. 4/5

Thorgan Hazard has signed for Monchengladbach on a permanent deal from Chelsea (though they've put a buy back clause in this one).

See, I knew there was a reason I put the thread up early!

There's not the same 'noise' but I'd love to see Yarmolenko in the EPL too, think he might be even better than Konoplyanka.

If we go up, we're bound to be scrutinising the freebie list.

Jimbo, what kind of wages do you expect Derby to offer when in the premiership?

1,5m a year?

Lex Immers - Pace & power. Holland's #1 box to box player

Feyenoord forum - the place to talk about this phenomenon

12m?

Nice to see Hazard jr at a decent sized club.
Chelsea have financially done well with the Belgians they've barely used: Lukaku, de Bruyne and Hazard jr

Some early (probably bollocks) rumours for summer.

PSV say they rejected a bid from Spurs for Memphis Depay last summer, not clear whether Spurs will be back in for him this summer, but it seems a possibility.

Liverpool linked with Luciano Vietto after he said it was nice to hear they were interested.

Diego can apparently leave Fener in the summer and apparently Everton and Villa hold an interest, though I think he is probably finished at the top level.

Newcastle and Spurs both credited with an interest in Carlos Bacca

Marquinhos says Man Utd were interested in him and that it was nice to hear, but that he is also open to extending his deal at PSG.

Yes, we signed a young lad called ssewankambo from NAC Breda in January, and we're linked to a couple of other players playing in holland, so wouldn't be at all surprised.

Honestly I have no idea, the owners have kept a very tight budget in the championship. The y will set a budget if we go up and doubt they will budge much on it, what that will be is anyone's guess, there's plenty of money in the owners pockets, but they've always said they won't just throw it in, and want the club to be run "properly".
