Reading beat Bradford 3-0 to book a semi final place. Can't help but think it could have been derby.

Quarter final replay tonight, usually want the underdog to win, but can't help but think if Blackburn did manage to get through it would as good as hand the trophy to arsenal.

And is it any better if Liverpool win it?

Worse might make for a competitive final though.

good effort by Reading but Federici's howler ended all hope for a surprise, no way Reading was gonna recover from that hammer blow. Overall Arsenal were the better team but Reading had their chances, including late in the 2nd half where Pogrebnyak decided to go on his own rather than play Mackie into the box

For all the commotion of making the FA Cup relevant again they sure shoot themselves in the foot scheduling the game the same time as Chelsea-Man U

Federici is so error prone he only ever gets games because Reading keep selling their best keeper every season.

I guess I can't be right all the time and there is no shame at all to losing to the 15th best team in the Premiership.

Hopefully Liverpool will either win the Premiership or win the Europa League to give Stevie G a trophy in his last season.

He can't go 23 years with just a Rumbelows Cup and Charity Shield to show for his efforts?

Well without a trophy or CL football and Klopp available I can see a situation where Rodgers gets sacked, we'll see

No way buddy.

Look at the signings Rodgers made pre-season?

He just needs to be given time for the 85 million quartet of Lallana, Balloteli, Loveren and Moreno to gel.

My only worry is a big club might come in for them and prize them away and likewise, a big club like Dortmund might come in for Rodgers too.

There is a dynasty being built at Anfield right now. Let's not knee jerk reaction losing to the 15th best team in the Premiership, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

Well after years of being the most dull football club in the world, finally some excitement down at Villa Park

I only saw the first half, the young lad Grealish for Villa looked decent.

Need to get him to declare for England instead of Ireland though.

Glad to be spared the "Steven Gerrard final" build up on TV now

Indeed, don't think I could have watched it, if that had happened.

Stevie G's destiny... he's had a lot of those over the years.
