Really exciting early movers. Danny Fox has moved to Forest on a permanent deal from Southampton and Leicester have released a few people.

Good times.

Swansea finally get Leroy Lita off the payroll, which will be a shock to no one.

Sunderland also releasing Carlos Cuellar in similarly uninteresting news.

Sky says that Rio will not be offered a new deal at United. He has previously said he would like to play for two more years. It would be cool if he went back to West Ham imo;

sky also says Chelsea have agreed a deal for Diego Costa which should put the fear of God among the rest of the league.

Josh also says Fernando to City is a done deal.

shaw to United also seems close.

Apparently Rio got told by Woodward in the changing rooms at the Southampton game he wouldn't be offered a new deal. Classy move for a player who'd been there 12 years.

Really hope Shaw doesn't go the United, could be that position solved for 15 years. Just look at Chelsea's signing of Cole all those years ago, they've never looked back. I think Ł27m could prove to be a bargain in the end, on par with Buffon for Ł32m all those years ago. Too good an opportunity to pass up. I'd like to see City sign him, but it doesn't seem we're in the mix.

Leicester City's Thai duty-free shop owner is apparently going to allow Nigel Pearson to spend a lot of money.

Wonder who his targets will be and will Dave Nugent be allowed to start up front come August?

Not strictly transfer news as such, but Terry has signed a one year extension at Chelsea.

Martyn Waghorn has gone to Wigan on a free transfer. Couple of others will be released in the coming weeks as well.

If Carlsberg did forum signatures......

We do definitely need to invest in a striker and centre backs. I love the Nuge but I don't trust him to lead our front line.

Our CB's (Wasilewski & Morgan) will be the slowest & most immobile CB's in the league next season.

So we need at least 3-4 very good players. -

The Arsenal one needs to be updated.

For some reason SV Hamburger actually paid money to Arsenal for Djourou after his initial loan spell last season.

Updated AFAIK. Added the ones mentioned, plus David N'Gog being released by Swansea and Joe Cole leaving West Ham.

Dan Gosling has signed for Bournemouth on a free from Newcastle. Bit of a waste of potential, that guy.

We're in the month of May @ Maturin.

Nobody's gunner believe you that a team paid cash money for Johannes Djourou.

Red is a pleasant colour

Also confirmed that Lescott will be leaving City at the end of his contract. Good pick up for someone.

Not only have Hamburg paid out Ł2.464.000 for him but also Hamburg paid out Ł660.000 for him for his loan period season just gone and also Hannover paid out Ł352.000 the season before that in his loan period there. Since January 2013 Arsenal have received just under Ł3.5m for him in loans and now this permanent move.

Wonder where he'll go. Wouldn't have minded if we retained him personally, think he was treated pretty badly this season, but I guess we're signing Mangala now. Wonder if Rekik will be in a blue shirt next season.

Richards, Barry and Lescott all on frees though, could be some good signings.

Added the latest round of released players. Some notable ones there, such as Zoltan Gera who's had a pretty impressive premiership career, Liam Ridgewell, Diego Lugano, Steven Reid and Guly Do Prado.

Richards I don't get from City POV with all this FFP shite hanging over your heads. Surely better to keep him on and give him another shot, there was so much potential there at one point and a season or two ago he was giving Zabaleta a real go for that RB spot. Still a player there I reckon.

"It's up for grabs now!"
