I fully expect the Dutch and French kids to have better technique, which might edge both games.

Wow, this is shocking to watch. Interesting though in that it perfectly highlights all the problems we have. We should be down a few goals but still hanging in there, France are seriously going to hammer us.

No off the ball movement so no options to pass to. Hit and hope from back to front, defenders afraid to bring it out because they can't pass or dribble and relying on the keeper to save them. No one making themselves available in the middle, with no one sitting to keep control of things. Too much focus on getting a goal instantly, no emphasis on keeping the ball... no patience at all. Very little technique on show with no passing, boring.

The way I would describe most English players is that when they get the ball, they are dunked under water in pitch black. They are desperate to get out of it, looking around for help but totally blind, gasping for air they panic and do whatever they can to breathe having lost all their oxygen flailing around. "GET RID!!!" being the motto.

Link, best one I could find.

Holland have eased off a lot as well, we were there for the taking but they seem happy in control.

Papers over here so stupid. Criticising Capello for not going to see these U19 championships. So do they honestly think any of these players will be in Capello's first squad for the Euro 2012 qualifiers? Sure it would be nice for him to watch them, which he may do on video or TV, but he will learn alot more once these guys are in the EPL teams.

Not much to see with England anyway bar maybe Bostock and the goalkeeper Rudd who seems good. Can't seem to find a stream for the France game, all goes to German women playing football... disgraceful.

Still in the game at 0-0 though, Bostock on the bench again is weird... I assumed he was dropped against Holland to come in for this game.

Just caught the last 10 minutes so no idea how we've played overall.

Finished 1-1. Phillips scored the equaliser in the 93rd minute. Dutch beaten by Austria 1-0. We go through to the semis to play Spain.

France vs Croatia in the other SF.

While we're on about the Euros, check this penalty out from the Spain vs Italy game:

Bostock on the bench, again! And Spain have scored.

Hopefully keep it from being a cricket score.

EDIT - Literally just post that and see Bostock has been subbed in after the goal already.

2-1 now, Bostock has scored. Anyone watching? Doesn't sound as one sided as I expected, seems like we're doing damage.

Interesting fact.

The whole of this Spain team come from just three clubs. Barca, two from Madrid and one from Atleti.

Now look at the clubs our squad come from.

Speaks volumes.

I'm not sure, I heard it on the radio when I was driving home.

I'm guessing they mean starting XI. I'll have a hunt for the line-ups.
