Ross Barkley looks by far the best player on this side. Was very impressive against Iraq the other day.

I think Daniel out there has a very bright future..i saw him playing against the Sussex and he was pretty much impressive..I guess he is going to play on the national team and very soon be called from one of the clubs.

The U-21 team that played against Finland was one of the worst ever. Can't believe some of those guys actually play in the PL. A tragicomic lot of unwelcome new acquintances such as:

Berahino, the actor's studio reject -slash- achilles heel reaper who should have been sent off the field long before his goal.

The man from Butland, who I don't think realised he was supposed to be the goalie tonight.

Redmond, who was statistically more likely to trip over his own feet than touch the ball, let alone do anything meaningful with it.

Chalobah, and his unyielding devotion to the back pass.

And of course dribble-king Sammy Ameobi, the Don Quijote of feints.

But the pick of the litter (pun intended) is surely the ironically named Mr. Wisdom, who decided to hit the showers early after spending the afternoon being humiliated by some Veikkausliiga hotshot. Better get used to the frustration, Andre, there will be plenty more in store should you decide against better judgement to prolong your playing career.

The few players who showed a little something were the physically gifted but tactically limited Shaw, and the technical for an anglo Carroll, who seemed like he was playing a different sport to the rest of his teammates.

I was just looking at the EURO U-21 results, and saw England came last with 0 points

Why does the youth team suck so much if England has fantastic infrastructure, money, coaches, best league in the world... etc
