Are Brighton moving to a new stadium?

Does anyone know, because at the moment they play at the crappy Withdean which is about 6,000 seats

In my football manager game we have moved to a stadium called Falmer which holds 22,000 in the 2009-10 season.

I was just wondering if this is actually happening, anyone know?

Don't believe it, until they actually move in, with the luck they've had.

I feel very sympathetic for Brighton fans. First the get moved from the Goldstone ground (I loved that place), to the most awful stadium in the world. THEN they get told by the nazi residents living around the stadium to "not chant as it is noise pollution". And when the stadium was on schedule a few months a go, Falmer residents opposed it.

I feel happy for the B&H fans now they've got the permission

The team that now plays in the 30,750 capacity Fallmer Stadium got promoted to the premiership today, returning to the top flight for the first time in 34 years.

I actually remember that temporary stadium they played in, looked like something from Eastern Europe, huge running tracker, the stands weren't connected, one side behind the goal had nothing by grass and there was that weird bleacher stands behind the other goal

great...I've kept an eye on them for the last couple of seasons. they finally managed to do it after being pretty close for a couple of times recently.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? AndÖ.itís the football, thatís the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

Good addition to the premier league, I'm sure away fans are looking forward to a trip down there next season.

Never been to the Amex but been to Withdean and the Goldstone Ground.

Brighton have got a massive catchment area, there are no rival teams for miles. Not sure if Palace are the nearest team or not but they are a good 50 miles away.

Great addition to the Premiership and one of the best nights out in the entire country. Just realised Jimmy Jones just said exactly the same thing!

Yeah huge catchment area (as my Brighton supporting mate always likes to tell me) if they can stay up and do well they could extend the ground.
