How do you rate their chances in the upcoming matches?

Not too optimistic, as always.

Domžale should get past that first abstacle, but in the second round they'll face Dinamo Zagreb, and that's as far as they'll go. If they didn't get past them last year when they were much stronger I don't see them with any chance this year.

Koper and Interblock have 50/50 chances in my opinnion. They could go through, but I wouldn't exactly bet on that.

Gorica have a good result from the away game, so they are in with a realistic chance of qualifying to the next round.

So the main problem is that they've been selling important players?

Very weak team Gorica this year. Without ideas and determinations.
Osterc too much alone, Demirovic play 10 minutes and rest for 30.
Skarabot first and Rexhay then... GHOSTS!
Attack totally inexistent and midfielders without ideas.

Last european game... for years.

PS: 10 € for that horror. p

I agree, very bad Gorica last night. First 10 - 20 minutes was good, 3 nice opportunities, but after that the game just tore apart, no chances, no ideas from Gorica. The penalty was quite doubtful, I haven't seen it on TV yet, but from the stands it looked like ordinary pushing. The referee was bad in general in my opinion. After the first goal it looked like Gorica was dominating the game, but without any effect. They should have played more on the wings, I don't know why were they trying to go through the center, where they were 8 Bulgarian players in average.
BTW, Osterc doesn't do anything to get the ball IMO. He is good with the head (he probably won 75 % jumps in the attack), but he doesn't move his ass, plus he is too lonely in attack as mentioned before. Demirović was quite good in my opinion, he has the best vision of all midfielders, but he lacks speed and stamina. Make no mistake, man of the match was Pirih. He has his part of the guilt on 2nd goal, plus he made two really stupid interventions and looked like headless chicken on several occasions.
And this Gliha guy will lead Gorica to the relegation zone, just listen to his interviews, this guy has no clue about football (that was also well seen on TV 3 last year, when they were broadcasting CL games). And he is trying to be like Mourinho on the pitch ...

Oh, and I have to say I didn't like the fans. I mean, it's always fun to listen witty and funny comments of old men ("Osterc, either he's too fast or too slow" ), but there were many young and not so young guys making racist comments and threatening to the referee.

Hey Saudi Arabia, do you remember, what formation did Gorica play in the winning 1995/96 season? I don't remember when was the last time Gorica didn't play 3-5-2.

Welcome mblazi19 toour forum!

Well Gorica fuked it up than? No wonder really with Gliha as your coach. I mean what were the board thinking when signing him? Just like you said he has absolutely no fuking clue about football, he's a joke. With him in charge, there are dark clouds gathering above you.

Another miserable club season is coming up I am afraid. With Gorica already out, Koper lost their first leg to an average Albanian team (in front of "huge" attendance of 600, what the fvck happened to the 2nd most "football crazy" city in Slovenia?), Domzale will pass the 1st qualifying round, but face an almost certain exit in the next round against Dinamo Zagreb, leaving only "Slovenian Chelsea" Interblock with some chances to advance, but even they needed a late goal to bring home a decent scoreline...

I started to interest in Gorica from 2003-'04. Before that season, it's a great black hole for me. p

Starting XI... without transfers:

Pirih;
Kokot, Mavric, Suler;
Pus, Komac, Ranic, Jokic,
Birsa, Burgic, Rodic.

PS: business is business...

As for the match, we were better, but we couldnt score. They scored twice from three counter.attacks...
As for the att., there were 900 ppl., but we played in Nova Gorica! And the ticket was 10 €, so basically no NG ppl were on the match, just us from Koper...
Anyway, for our home att. its a long discuss, why its so...

So tomorrow is the game Domzale-Dinamo. If I'm honest i don't really care who wins it, but surely Dinamo is the clear favorite, in this one. Maybe they have a weaker squad then last year, but they'll do enough to go through.
What I'm really interested in is the possibility that either of them can meet Barcelona,Fiorentina,...

Dinamo will win this easily. Domžale are a joke this year.

You're wishing like some mighty club from the end of the world was to get drawn against Dinamo.

With car from LJ you have like 4h to Florens, not much since your so keen to to see Fiorentina and 6h to your beloved Rome. If you choose to go by plane you'll be there in no time!

I am pretty sure it takes more than 6h to Rome from here with a car, unless your last name is Schumacher or something like that.

Anyway, time to kick some Croatian ass today.
Seriously, I think Walter is right, I don't give much chance to Domzale, but at least they could make the series interesting if they pull up a decent result in the first match.

I'll put it like this, if Dinamo gets drawn with Barca I'm in Zagreb in no time
If Domzale go through with a help of a miracle and then get drawn with Fiorentina, I'm in Domžale.
