Nah, I don't think Koper will do it. Maybe it's Domžale's year this time arround. I can't see Gorica repeating their success of the past three years as well, they lost just too many quality players. I could very well be the return of Maribor, certainly if they'll continue like they started. So for me it should be something like this:

1. Domžale
2. Maribor
3. Gorica
4. Koper

I hope for a good competition with some good fotball.

I think we all agree that top 4 teams are Domzale, Koper, Maribor and Gorica in arbitrary order. I don't think Primorje or any other team can get into the top 4, but we'll see. To me, Domzale look the strongest, specially with Cime & Rakovic in attack.

BTW, anyone noticed that Domzale are becoming basically Olimpija? I wonder when GD and Viole will notice that too...

I agree with you on the top four OAnimal, simply I don't see any other team betting close to them. On paper or by reputation Primorje and Publikum should be the closest to it, but somehow they always fail to make it.

On Domžale becoming the little Olimpija, well yes, it actually really is, especially now if Cime will play. Who knows maybe even GD will cheer for them.

Will be very tough, I think Domžale, Koper and Maribor are going to be the main contenders for it This season we have a big chance to finish back on top and how I hope this will happen

Yes, like I said, Maribor could do it this year. Pušnik seems to have sorted the team out nicely and the results are showing allready. Of course it will be a different story in a season long competition than in a cup game but still, Maribor have a good chance of returning to the throne.

Started last night with 2 matches

NK Maribor 1 - 0 Drava Ptuj
Publikum Celje 0 - 0 Nova Gorica

So Maribor start with a win which is great news, however it looks far from convincing to me and Drava did have Šterbal sent off also for a second yellow card. Today we have Primorje playing Nafta and also Domžale hosting Bela Krajina Any thoughts guys?

Like it has been said, i really don't think Gorica will win another title this season. I think Domžale, Maribor, and even Koper could battle for the championship. Of course i am hoping Maribor win the crown once again but it will be tough with Domžale looking a strong team once again. I like what Pušnik has done thus far and i am excited of what is yet to come. 3 points in the bag, let's keep it going!

In the 2nd, i hope Dravinja go up this time, damn Factor for beating them on the last day last season to leapfrog them and get straight promotion!

Todays results:
Primorje 1 - 0 Nafta
Domžale 1 - 0 Bela krajina

A modest start to the new season to say the least.:undecide: The favouriteshave won and that's the only thing that seems to stand out. One more game to be played yet, Koper : Factor, lets see if that changes anything.

Factor is new, right? Well, that shouldn't stop the Chelsea of Slovenia.

I don't think they'll have any problems either, I just hope for more goals. As it is now it looks as though all the strikers are still on vacations.:rollani:

Well, I only saw Primorje and they indeed were missing quite a lot of chances, though there was a dicussable phase, if I saw it correctly.
