European Cups 2005-2006

Today there will be a draw for European Cups for the next season.
Our champions Gorica are forced to make the appearance already in the 1st qualifying round, where they will face one of these opponents:
Rabotnicki (Macedonia), Dinamo Minsk (Belarus), Pjunik (Armenia), Sliema Wonderers (Malta), FK Tirana (Albania), Levadia Tallin (Estonia), Glentoran (N. Ireland), Total Network Solutions (what a name , Wales), F91 Dudelange (Luxemburg), Neftchi (Azerbaijan), HB Torshavn (Faroe Islands), Kairat Almaty (Kazakhstan).

I think that the best draw would be the Malta or Luxemburg champions. I'd like them to avoid teams from Faroe Islands and ex Soviet republics because of travel costs.

If they make it to the 2nd round, they'll face one of these teams:
Celtic, Anderlecth, Dinamo Kiev, Lokomotiv Moscow, Partizan, Maccabi Haifa, Steaua, Brondby, Rapid, CSKA Sofia, Debrecen, Trabzonspor, Valerenga and Liverpool or whoever beats them in the first round.

Now if Gorica gets to the 2nd round, I'd like them to get Partizan. :fero:

I don't even think Gorica will beat Tirana.
I really mean it, Tirana has made a strong team but ofcourse anything can happen but my favourite is KF Tirana.

Gorica made it to the 3rd round of CL qualifying including beating København 5-0 on the road, so its not an easy draw i'm glad Rabotnicki didnt draw them.

So, Gorica is that good eh? All of you guys seem to be thinking that they will have no problems at all in the first round. Do many of Gorica's players play for your NT? I know Tirana is not a bad team this year, but don't know much about Gorica, if many of your players in your NT come from Gorica than it will be a very tough match for Tirana.

Gorica's game will be of yugoslavian style: neat passing and good ball handling skills
Tirana well i do not really know anything about albanian football style.

What makes you say that? I think Gorica will pass, but I don't think it will be easy, specially because two NT players from Gorica left in the last half season (Rodic and Komac).

Pirih was reserve goalkeeper in our last NT match and Kokot is also called sometimes, but he rarely makes the starting 11. I think some Gorica players play in U21 NT.

well guys I've started to doubt when I saw Goricas results last year and deserve respect but Tirana isn't that bad but perhaps not better.

After seing Dinamo Tirana get trounced by Varteks Varazdin today, I don't have much faith in the albanian league anymore. We'll see.

Yeah, we'll see. As I said, Gorica lost some players lately and might not be the team they were last season, so we may be wrong afterall. I hope the two teams will play two good matches and let the best one advance.

well....nobody said, that it would be easy 4 gorica...and nobody said, that gorica ll trash Tirana with an easy win 5:0....but i (we) think gorica ll go true...and they are also favourits, but not all favourits re winning & we all know that...

As 4 Domzale....an amateur team from San Marino...heh...here there is really no doubt....
