9.oktober WC Qualifier: Slovenija - Italija

Oblak announced the players for the matches against Italy and Norway today and here is who he has called I am not sure if this is the final squad

----------------------------------------------------------------

Good decision not call Borut Semler, SloU21 team need him to beat the "azzurrini".

But where is Komac?

Gorica players: ZERO. :depress:

Although there are still two weeks till the match I can allready feel the tension. Damn I whish and hope we can really beat those Italians, and than make a good result against the Norwegians too. If we could again get four points from those two matches it would be absolutely great. Also it's a good thing that we play Italy first, that will mean more preparations for them, our players will be fresh and ready to fight and defenetly won't make it easy for them.
Yesterday Brane said that Italy so far played as much as it was needed of them. That they are that sort of a team that can always win 1-0 with even not that great performance (tell me about it :rollani: ). He said that he'll need all the players outthere, and them to be not only fighters but warriors. I got an impression that he's got it all figured out allready.
Anyway as I said in the past, I don't fear Italy, they always seem to be the team that suits us, so I don't see any problem why it shouldn't be like that again. I'm confident!

Italian a$$ kicking time is coming soon. They're gonna get it twice in 10 days. First Maribor-Parma and then Slovenia-Italia. Hell, one's got to be an optimist, right?

Italy always manages those scrapy wins, be it a 1-0 victory following a pathetic display, or a last minute/deep into the stoppage time weird sort of a goal, something like that. And than when they are fed some of their own medicine, suddenly the wholle world is against them. :rollani:

No, not everybody knows that. Ask their supporters... :rollani:

Well, it still takes some nerve to say that in his position.

What's up with Dedic btw? Is he loaned out by Parma?

And that's becouse he was injured. Remember when there was talk about him being doubtfull before the Scotland game? He had an injures toe, broken actually, and he still lpayed that game. After than he was recovering from it, and thus had to miss out on some matches for Empoli. He's now fit and expects to play this weekend.

Defenetly good news, we all saw that he's a very capable player, and untill now the luck didn't fancy him. Maybe against Italy than.

Zlatko dais himself that he expects a lot of his friends in Trst, so yes maybe Tok will go and see his friend play too.

Guys, bad news! :depress: Knavs is injured!

He had to leave the field allready in the 18th minute due to an muscle injury. :frownani: Man, this mean a lot of problems for this match. As there are not a lot of information on that I still hope he'll be OK, but in case he wont be, we are in trouble. :depress:

Indeed James.

Some good news for those still without tickets (myself including), tomorrow there will be another 400 on sale. Those tickets were returned by the Italian FA as the didn't sale all the number of tickets available.
So for all those who want to go, the hunt will be on tomorrow in Maribor, Kranj and Portoroz.
The sad thing is that now, even if I actually can get the ticket, I don't think I'd be able to go. :rollani:
