Cime out of Lecce

Lecce cut the contract with Cime today, so he's now without a club. The president said that this is due to all the injuries Cime had suffered and thus really didn't have a chance to establish himself. It's said that he'll train with Olimpija but can't yet find another club untill mid season break in january.
So another one of our players unimployed.:depress:

Good for cime...

He should get as far away form the italian league as possible...
Or he will never get out of these injuries...

It would be a dream if he signed for olimpija... but he's dreaming about ancona now... i guess he hasn't learned anything...

He could be right, Nina. I still remember how Van Basten's career ended. Maybe a good team in France could be an option now.

ps: what's your source on this, Walter?

If you are refering to a slightly more rougher way of playing in Italy I must tell you that Cime hasn't been playing for Lecce for a long long long time. He gets injured at trainings ... where players usually avoid any kind of contact to prevent things like injuries.

:dielaugh: It's rougher than La Liga, but EPL still wins it. Brutal? No, not since Simeone was sent to Spain and Ringo calmed down! Get your facts straitened up

It's obvious you both have very strong feelings about Italian football. I personally don't like it but most of all i hate the fascist garbage club Lazio and their nationalist fascist scum supporters. If some Lazio supporter is reading this I certainly do not apologize.

Bins I got the news from some italian site, and than also from nogomania, a slovenian football site.

I also think Cime should stop dreaming about Italy, what he got there were only injuries. Be it in the match or training. I like what Bins said, France or maybe even Belgium, some "softer" league. If he'd sigh for a club in Slovenija, well that would be great too. The main point is that he gets a club where he could play constantly. There is one important aspect about Cime though, he'll have to improove his phisicyl fitness. I belive many of his injuries come from the fact that he's not fit enough. In todays football strenght is an important factor.

Thx, Walter, I also found a little message on Lecce's official site on it. I figured it was about that, since I don't speak a word of Italian.

But anyway, the team that could keep him injury free could do a great strike here. Let's hope he finds one soon.

What did POP TV rename the show, isn't it Športna scena? Yes I cought Cime, and I was also wondering if he was to say some of his trade mark quotes, but he was pretty normal. But just seeing Cime makes my day, he's such a legend!

I agree the Italian league is too tough for some players

to play in Italy you need to be very physical like players like Corradi, Bonazzoli, Iaquinta etc. these are players who are massive and physically very strong, not to mention even the smaller players in Serie A know how to look after them selves

If you cant do this you will get nowhere in Serie A!!!

Serie A is not a dirty league either its just a league were the defenders gradually grind away at you and by the end of the match you will probably end up with 15 bruises, if you cant handle that then there is no point in playing

Hehehe Majk, very funny to read your post it was

But I saw no Napoli hating lines, although Napoli is known for the most racist fans in Serie A.

And to call Lazio supporters Nazi scum you call me that also.
