I'm staying

If you remember some time ago I said that I might be leaving this forum because I would get a job in the army? Well I changed my mind about it and I'm staying where I'm now. Despite that was my long lasting whish and all I decided otherwise, to stay, to be wity my wife, my family. You know how it is, soon there will hopefully be children, and you just can't leave your family alone, plus there are other reasons for it. Anyway I just wanted you all to know that you'll still have to get along with me, like it or not.

That is a good decision Walter. Now that you have a wife (and children soon) it would be horrible for them if you left. As for getting along with you, I dont see much of a problem there

Yes it's a great decission, and the right one too. It gave ma a lot of serious thinking and headackes, but I belive I came out with the best possible solution. As you said It wouldn't be nice and fair torwards my wife. Also I got my life going pretty well, and I'm not the kind of guy that likes capital changes.
All in all I made the right decission and I'm happy I did!

That's good to hear Walter I never imagined you leaving and going to the army anyway

BTW, isn't this new way of army like a job, you do the amount of hours daily and then you go home? :undecide:

It is, but it's much more than this. OK you work 8 hours a day, from 7am to 5pm, with 2 hours for lunch and rest. A working day is action packed, lots of phisycal training, different tactical drills, and other stuff.Plus there are when you have to be on the watch, you go out on terrain very regullary where there is all day activity. You have all this drills with other armys, home and abroad. You get to be sent on the missions like to Bosna, Kosovo, maybe in the future Irak, Afganistan. It's pretty buisy scedulle, but that's OK. I have (had) no problem with that, there were other things that decided.

If I had this chance a few years ago I wouldn't hassitate for a moment, but now things are different, so I made the right decission.

What a good news, man!! I am happy for your decision. I've never imagined such a good-hearted and cleverminded person as yourself as a drilled soldier who's only task is to obey orders.

Congratulations.
And as OAnimal said, you're for sure too good to just obey some lousy orders.

And I've never been too much of a flirter so this shouldn't really be a problem:
Also thanks for the kind words!

i'm busy as hell all the time. OAnimal. with my family, work and with my home board, where i'd got some more duties. but cause you lot decided to discuss the slovenian footie here, i guess i'll be here too for that issue.

btw, aren't you in Rio yet? I've thought, you're already charming the ladies on the Copacabana.

Good to have another strong female football opinion, besides nina's.
Plus I like your choice of teams much better.

No, not yet. Maybe in winter-time, I haven't decided yet.

It would be about time that you get over it, because it's getting boring

As someone on this forum said ...

"I like Italian football - I love Italian football. I don't like the mentality that simply attacking football is brilliant, and the number of goals being the standard for judging a match. I wasn't really fussed by the Man U - Real matches (certainly at Old Trafford), simply because the inept defending really, really annoyed me. I prefer goals to come from skill, not error. I love watching a good defender, tackling at the right time, marking close in, stopping an attacker - in the same way I love watching an attacker send the same defender in completely the wrong way with a beautiful piece of skill. Defensive football doesn't have to be boring - so long as it's done right."

yeah, that's the best, Serie Snore lovers actually repeat constantly. i fail to see what's so entertaining in ball torturing, knee kicking and diving. And i can asure you, nothing makes me more than a serie snore match.
