Milan Osterc, according to the papers, is playing pretty good in France and has been the best man in the team lately. On the weekend he made an assist to the only Le Havre's goal, although they lost the game at the end. If he keeps up the form he'll be a threat to Cimerotič, especially since the latter is always injured

Also I heard that Novak has impressed Olympiakos and they want to keep him for another year Sounds great for Đoni, but I doubt it's true.

Good for Osterc, but I really don't want him back in the NT. He has done enough, but now we play different football and IMHO, he is not needed. He is too slow, is not very technical player and does not score a lot of goals.

Why it wouldn't be true, Johnny () is a great player, we always knew that, right?

Back to the topic, I think there is Marinko Galic somewhere in China, but I am not sure where exactly and Radosavljevic in Russia.

Thanks for your contribution, although these two players are not Slovenians. Bozgo is Albanian, while I have never heard of the other guy - from his name I would guess he is a Croat.

Tomislav Mizura is a Slovenian, also Bozgo is listed everywhere as a Slovene. He has albanian origin, but he married a Slovene so he probably has our citizenship

Thank you very much MxPx How about some info how they are doing?

I know that, however he can't play for our NT, so basically he is not of our interest. Or is he?

Pregelj / Sturm Graz
He's getting to play a game every now and then, helping out in midfield, etc... but I always thought that transfer was pretty useless.
And the only way for Sturm-president Hannes Kartnig to make room for another non-EU player was to marry him with his secretary (love at first sight, I guess . (true story)

Ceh / GAK
Pretty much lost his place in the first XI this season, after he's been a starter for many seasons in Graz. arantes (a GAK-fan) might tell you a bit more about Ceh's situation.

And the two Slovenians at Admira Wacker...
I can only rate Bozgo, who's with Admira for 2 or 3 seasons already. I haven't really seen a lot of Misura yet.
As for Bozgo, the guy is pretty much a starter at the team.

This weekend, Admira plays Austria Wien (who lead the table) in the tv live game, I'll have an eye on Bozgo and Misura.

Derby, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you talking about Zoran Pavlovič, 'couse I don't know any Željko??

OAnimal, I know I must be getting on your nerves by now, but if Jagoda (MIlan Osterc) is really playing well, than I see obstacles for him to return to NT. I firmly belive he can help us a lot, and that he will do just that once he will get his chance. And that will happen sooner or latter!

SLOVENIJA

Good for them, at least a few of them. Thank you for the info I had no idea that Čeh is playing poorly or should I say not playing at all :depress: I never found news about him in the papers after the weekend's games and just assumed he's not dealing all that great, but this sounds like a disaster. I think the things at the WC shook him up pretty badly

Zoran Pavlovic doesn't play in Austria anymore.
He left Austria Wien last season for Salzburg and Salzburg released him some months ago. No idea where he plays now.

Well, personally I rate Lecce higher than Le Havre, so Osterc doing well there isn't enough reason to re-introduce him with Slovenia just like that.

Cimirotic is with a better team and as far as I know always proved himself a better finisher than Osterc. So as long as you have a choice (Siljak, Cimirotic, Zahovic), I'd pick Cimirotic over Osterc any day.

But obviously I'm no Slovenian , so you guys probably know their qualities best.

Binswhacker your are apsolutely right! Of course Cime and Šiljak are better than Osterc so there is no room for him in our NT. But still some "Katanec-lovers" haven`t realized what is good for us! You know how it is when you are stubborn. You have to prove your right at any cost

Hmm, I do not want to get into a fight over Katanec or Prasnikar, not to mention take sides. All I can say is that Katanec received great results with Slovenia and that I hope Prasnikar can continue that work with the generation he has in his hands. However, ZZ has gone too far in the World Cup and I cannot blame Katanec for taking the action he took then by sending ZZ home.

On the other hand, I agree that ZZ is still of too much value to the Slovenian NT to just ditch him like that. His versatility is still too useful, both as an attacking midfielder or as a second striker, an idea i'd prefer just a little since it gives room on the attacking midfield position for guys like Acimovic or Nastja Ceh.

I think Nastja Ceh is our attacking miedfielder No.1 at the moment. I don't know how Prasnikar is going to solve the dilema when Acimovic returns to the NT. Ceh, Zahovic and Acimovic are all attacking miedfielders and the best solution for the forwards are Siljak and Cimerotic. I hope there won't be any compromises like placing Acimovic to the right wing because his place just isn't there and Koren played at this position very well.

Ačimovič is a great joker-player and he should remain that in the future too. He is playing better as a substitute than a 1st lineup player and that is the fact. I hope he will understand the situation
