Every road leads to Moscow - 2018 FIFA World Cup

Switzerland keep defending like this and we'll have no problem getting 4-6 points from them in the quali and get a good playoff spot the very least. First place doesn't seem that unreachable now that Portugal play like 11 wusses. EURO should give us a better clue about both teams' gameplay, certainly much better than the friendlies.

Without Jesus, a hopeless end. With him, an endless hope.

-In the meantime Andorra are playing a friendly game against Moldova today at 6pm Hungarian time.

-Latvia tied Slovakia 0-0 at Felvidék. The good&loud Latvians defended like a bunch of turkeys (get it?), the Slovaks had shooting chances practically every 5th minute. Their left back, Maksimenko is a joke. Take good care of Rudnevs and we'll have no problems.

-Faroe Islands are facing Liechtenstein on an away game today at 7pm CET.

Without Jesus, a hopeless end. With him, an endless hope.

Switzerland will play Belgium in May, that should be one heck of an instructive game for us in terms of Swiss gameplay.

Now we know we have the Euro winner in our group. My question is: Is Portugal that strong? Because they looked damn shaky and def. beatable against us!

And what about Switzerland? They showed great team spirit vs. Poland, almost went through to the quarters!! Is our group as balanced as group I? Probably not. But it can be more exciting if we don't screw it up against the Swiss in October (and in the Islands in September).

Portugal is the last team we're gonna play against (March 2017), if we win all our matches before that, we'll be ahead of them for sure cus theres just no Mother Therese effing way they take all the 3 points from their first match being played in Suisse and all.

I think what scares me the most about Portugal is how unpredictable they can be. They can range anywhere from almost the worst team in "arguably" the easiest group in the Euro all the way to being the Euro Cup champions. They've literally been both at the same tournament. One goal away from elimination in the group phase but somehow went on to win the Euro.

I don't think they're that good but have a highly tactical coach and a very strong work ethic when properly motivated. Hopefully they won't be that motivated against us. We shall see.

I'm sure they won't be that motivated. After all, they just ate.

I'm not really impressed with them. Reckon the only reason they got into the quarter final in the first place is because Cacic screwed up the tactics against them. They have a stronger team and yet failed to live up to their potential. I did not see anything that projects that this happened because of the Portuguese team.

Then the same thing happened against France. Deschamps should be fired if you ask me.

we just have to pray that Cristiano doesn't get injured for our game, or even worse, retires from NT, because if they're without him we have no chance

I think with him or without him they will beat us cause we do not have any forwards.

Plus Priskin whom I still trust. Plus Nikolics who will play more in the qualifiers (my assumption). Did you see his goal Pista? Pure class. Check his thread!

lol, Portugal don't have any forwards and they just won the Euro. They had Nani and Ronaldo who are both wingers and their own version of Szalai scored the winner

Yea but Bohoc, Nani, etc. can score, dribble around defenders, scare the defense. All our goals came from free kicks or corners except for Szalai and Stieber's goals. You need forwards who can hold onto the ball and give a breather to the defense, Portugal does that.

If you want to buy a season ticket ("bérlet") to the Moscow campaign with a discount, you can register to the Szurkolói Klub, get a football card. Tickets will be available after Monday.
